Chapter 21

~Sky POV~

When I woke up, they left to search for Sophia. It was just me, Dale and T-dog. I walk out of the RV, "morning," I heard above me. "Morning Dale! Where T-Dog? I need to look at his cut." Dale point out to some cars, "he looking for some meds." I look at Daryl motorcycle, "I need more bandage, I use the last on him" I said, I look out toward the woods. "How long they been gone?"

"Since day break, you sister went with them" I knew she would, "anyways, you got the RV fix?"

"Been fix since yesterday"

"Never told anyone?"

"If I did, Shane have Rick mind change us to leave"

"Don't like Shane?" He didn't say a word, "I seen him aim a gun at Rick when he came to the group, learning his wife and child is safe. I think he wants to kill Rick to have Lori but..."

"But then my sister walk threw that path, I don't trust him since the CDC"

"What happen there"

"Don't want to talk about unless she ok with me talking about it"

"Who? Becca?"

"No, Lori..." Dale eyes got big, "but after that, he been watching her like a hawk"

"Like Daryl does you two" I look at him, "what?"

"Last night before Daryl went to bed, he help watch for a while but every time, you or your sister got out to, well you know go to the bathroom. His eyes never left you two, then he went to bed. At day break, Daryl watch Becca because Shane try to talk to her. Big fuse happen there, between Rick, Becca, Daryl, and Shane. They end up left looking for Sophia."

Now I wish I went, don't know what Shane going to do to her. "Think she alive?" I ask as T-dog, "we can only hope" T-dog say, he started to look sick. Dale got down and help t-dog sit down on the other side of the RV. I look in the motorcycle, shock to see that Daryl somehow had a picture of me and Becca at my wedding day. I had this picture next to the door at the apartment. I started to wonder why he got it. I seen the bag of pills, found the one T-dog need. I gave him two pills and he took them. I told them it was Daryl brother pills. T-dog almost spit it out but I told him not to worry, like Merle going to miss them. "He running a fever" Dale said, I ran to the truck of water, I seen one was open by Shane the other day, I seen a shirt and pour water on it. I know it was hot water but anything better then nothing, I wipe his sweat away, then he started to talk crazy, something me or Dale didn't understand. I keep wiping until he finally stop talking, I look beside Dale. "Who guitar?"

"I found it though Glenn like it"

"If he dot know how to play, I bet Becca can teach him, she sings an play guitar"

"You?" T-dog asked, "Drums, I only sing to myself cause I can't sing to save my life" I chuckle at that. It was xlose to night fall. Not long, Daryl, Becca, Carol, Andrea and Glenn was back. "Where the rest?" Dale ask, "Carl got shot, a girl on a horse came up and got Lori" Glenn went on and on, "so what about Sophia?" I ask. "We can't leave without my baby" Carol said, "we stay the night then go to them in the morning. We can put a sign and leave food if she come back. We come back everyday to see she here" Andrea said, I walk away. Leaving when the little girl is out there, I walk far enough until I felt someone grab my arm. I turn around, it was Becca. "We can't leave, Sophia is still out there"

"I know, Glenn taking T-dog plus the meds. to the farm"

"Tomorrow I'm going to look for Sophia. It's too late now"

"Sky, I understand" Becca turn and walk away.

Night fall, I stand outside of the RV. I can hear Carol crying, I heard Becca hum to Carol trying to calm her down. Then the RV door open, I seen Daryl. "Where you going?"

"Walking, seeing I can find Sophia"

"This late?"

"I be next the highway" I look down the highway, "can I come?" He smirk at me, "wondering when you going to ask" I smile and grab my Katana. We started off, it felt like hour. He broke the moment of silents. "I like you Sky and Becca, but"

"But what?"

"Nothing" he said, I remember this happen before with my last ex, I put him to a test until I learn he was in love with my so called best friend and then learn they slept together as me and him was a couple. "What's my name"

"What?"

"What's my name?" He stop and look at me, "Skylar" plain look on his face, "what's my sister name"

"Becca" he said with a smile, Daryl told on himself. I smiled "ok" I started walking on, I jump on the highway and look in some cars. Found a pack of cigarettes, I pull on out and lucky a lighter on the floor. I light it up, Daryl took it from me and took a hit. "We should head back" I said, "hope Sophia find a safe place for tonight" Daryl look at me. "She a smart kid, don't worry so much Sky. Just think about your husband." We started walking, "funny, fell like we are walking the dead path" I said.
