Chapter 33

~Sky's POV~

I sit in the tent, remembering what happen that day. I petted David head that I have hanging on my belt loop. I walk out my tent, I watch the fire. "Are you ok?" I heard behind me, I look and it was Daryl. I didn't say a word to him, "Sky, talk to me. Stop acting like a bitch, ok your husband was a walker. I can't change that, I had to shoot him or he..."

"Me and Becca can't turn so why should you care"

"Sky, I-"

"Shut it Daryl, it's over now. I have David back on my side and he not going to leave it, never again" I walk away from the tents, I knew Daryl follow me. I walk past Carol, but the footsteps stop. I heard them talking, heard every word he said to Carol. "What about Becca and Sky?" I heard Carol asked Daryl, he didn't say a word. "Daryl, you was right about Sophia not your problem but then why you went looking?"

I walk to the barn and sit there, looking down as I was on the top level of the barn. "You been here all this time" I stand there until the sun rise.

I walk where I seen everyone was at, they look at me. Everyone gasp when they seen David head on my belt loop but not Daryl or Becca. I look at the road and seen a car pulling up, everyone in the house came out. Lori look at me with fear, but when the car stop and a Rick, Hershel, Glenn and a new young wounded boy came out, Carl ran toward his dad. He look at me, "what the-"

"Don't ask" Becca said, I sit on the porch as everyone went inside. I heard them talking, "when the world goes to shit and you get bit, I'm going to cut off your head because you already dead" I said as I petted David head. Shane came outside, "crazy bitch" he said as he walk off, I roll my eyes then everyone came out. They just stare at me as they walk away. Becca stop beside me, "Sky, can we talk?"

"That what we going now, are we?"

"I mean alone" I turn my head toward her, "no"

"Ok, Sky when you-"

"Get away Becca, I'm spending time with my husband" I said, she look down and walk away. I look out, I started to see them. Sophia, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and more, I seen the dead.

"I'm sorry I ran off" I heard, I look down and seen David normal face, not the walker one but the last time I seen him. I got up and walk to the barn, "I-I can hear you!" I said, "of course you can, your my wife but I must say. I'm sorry, I lost my memory after the fight with Daryl brother. I some how got here, and I try to help Otis well I got bit and you can guess the rest" I petted his head, "it's ok, I should be the who sorry. I shouldn't let you go, and-"

"I know you slept with Daryl and it is ok, I won't blame you."

"But hey, we can start over again" I heard the door open, I seen Becca and Daryl.

"Sky?" I look at Becca, I seen the worry in her eyes. "It's ok, David is talking to me! I know what happen, he lost his memory and got lost but in up here, help out and got bit but we going to make up lost time"

"Sky, you need sleep" Daryl try to grab my arm but pull out my katana and aim it at his throat, "Sky don't!" Both Becca and David yelled, "why David? He shot you-"

"He had to, for every one. I was dead, I watch everything and if it wasn't for him. You and Becca would be my dead body meal. Even tho you can't turn doesn't mean you can't die"

"Sky?" I heard Becca, I look into her eyes. She was going to cry, "Sky, baby please, you already walking a dead path, don't make it bloody" I heard David, I pull my katana away. "Just be damn lucky that David told me not to..." I walk out of the barn, "Sky-" Becca said, "I'm not ain't your problem anymore, or to anyone. I don't need anyone, not since I my husband back" I look at Daryl, he know what I mean. I watch him hit the barn door causing Becca to jump. I started off in the woods, I killed couple of walkers and end up taking their teeth, me and David talk all day. Sophia follow me, David said, "because you are the only one who can see her, she wants to be around you" I smiled at her, "ok, Sophia as long you talk to me. I don't want to the living anymore, they don't understand" she smiled and nod, I got back to the barn. I was starving, Sophia pointed to the apple tree. I ate some apples, "I know mommy missed me, I wish at times I can hug her but I just go through her" Sophia said, "I wish I was there for you Sophia"

"But then you become one"

"At least I can tickle you then if I was dead" she giggle, she look up where mine, Becca and Daryl was at. "He didn't mean it, what he said to my mom. I felt his heartbroken when my body came out" she look at me, "truth it hurt us when our body was like that. What Shane, T-dog, Andrea, Daryl and Rick did, free us from the pain" tears roll down my eyes. I started off to the tent, "what are you going to do?" Sophia asked, "you see" I heard David, I seen Daryl sitting next to Becca. They seen me and got up, I hug Becca tight and kiss her on the cheek, I turn to Daryl, I did the same to him.

"Sky? Everything ok?" Becca asked as tears still rolling down my cheeks, I told them. What I can see, and what Sophia said. Daryl roll his eyes but he hugged me and so did Becca. I didn't tell them about the teeth, because I'm making me a necklace out of them later. "So are you going to throw the head away?" Daryl asked, "no..." I said coldly. I walk into my tent, lay down and minutes past. "We have to do something Becca, she might do something stupid!"

"Like what!? She already cut herself, just leave her be. She just need time to clear her mind. She be normal again"

"Wait? She cutting herself?" I closed my eyes as I heard them coming to my tent. I felt Daryl grabbing my wrist to look, "what the hell!"

"What the hell? What the hell to you! Cutting yourself! I'm not going to lose you, or Becca like I did Sophia!" I look at Becca, and Sophia was behind her crying hold her ears and her eyes closed.
