Chapter 41

Becca's POV

I was gathered in this room with Hershel, Glenn, Maggie, and Michonne. "I can go!" Glenn said. "You almost died! My daughter almost died!" Hershel said. "He is coming." Michonne said. We looked at her. "Since you all went to...his town and done some shit there...he will be coming her to do the same." I said. I took a deep breath and Maggie walked away. "We need to build this place up. Protection." I said. Axel, and Carol went with me to put boards against the fence. Axel kept saying that he never used a gun. I just blocked them out. We need to get this job done! "You're quiet a lady." Axel said to Carol. She walked off. "Back off! We don't need you to be flirting with any of us women! We got more shit to deal with!" I said and I walked off too. Maggie and Glenn armoured up and we were ready for The Governor to appear. But me? I was quiet scared! We walked down at the opening and Axel and Carol was talking and I was getting a bit mad. I wished there was peace and quiet around here. I seen his body hit the ground. He got shot in the head. I gasped. "Go! Go! He is here!" I told to the group. They were shooting. Carol got down on the ground next to Axel's body. Carl and Beth started to run. Everyone hit the ground. Carl was shooting. Michonne was too and Rick. I got up and started to run and a bullet came right next to my face. I screamed and hit the ground. Only thing to do was play dead. I laid there, eyes closed. I stayed quiet. Bullets came all around me. I don't even know where Sky is at. I hope she is ok. "Becca! No! Becca!" I heard Carol crying. The gun shooting stopped. Maggie came out because I recognized her voice. The gun shooting began again. I still laid there. The goon shooting stopped...again. Everyone was breathing hard. A vehicle just broke down the gate. I am so scared. I don't know what to do. People now think I am dead. Carol is crying. They realesed walkers. I heard them. I got up and started to run. I got out my knife. I started to stab some of the walkers. I ran right next to Maggie. "WHERE IS SKY?" I yelled. "I DON'T KNOW!" she yelled back. I looked around and I noticed Sky was with Hershel. I must be blind. The Governor had this planned out. How in the hell did they get on this property so damn quiet? Where is Daryl when you need him? I groaned and I got my gun out and started to shoot some walker's in the head. I seen they were getting in their vehicle and driving off. Glenn drove back. I ran out in the feild where Rick was at. I was running closer. I had to hurry because a couple of walkers was on his ass. I seen an arrow go through a walker's head. I smiled because I knew it was Daryl. I seen a male behind him and it was Merle. I gasped. "RICK LETS GO!" I Yelled. I was killing some walkers from left to right. Michonne was slicing some walkers heads off. I seen Sky and Hershel get into Glenn's truck. I was too distracted that I didn't notice a walker was up on me. It pinned me against a fence. "rrrgghh" is the only word I can say. I tried shoving it back. It kept growling at me. I hurry and grabbed my knife and it got at my face. I screamed and it's nose was touching my nose. I stabbed it in the head. It fell to the ground. I was trying to catch my breath. I noticed there was two knifes in its head. I looked up and it was Daryl. He was catching his breath. "You alright?" He asked me. I nodded and I looked back at the walker. I pulled my knife out and I pulled his knife out and I handed him his knife. I walked past him. I seen Glenn driving past the gates so they are secure. Rick killed the last one. Merle noticed me and he started to chuckle. I walked past him and Carl let me in the place. I walked to Sky. "You ok?" I asked her. She nodded. She walked past me. I walked to Carol but she done ran up to me crying and holding me close. "You're alive! You're alive!" is the only words she could say. Sky threw her a confusion look and so did Daryl. He must've heard. I hugged her tight. We pulled apart and I gave her a warm smile. She was wiping her tears away and smiling back. "Are you ok?" I asked her. She nodded. I looked at Sky and she is still giving me a confusing look, and so is Daryl. I looked down at the ground. I don't know what to tell them. Am I suppose to say. I almost got shot in the head by the governor and I almost got the hell bitten out of me by a walker! I just can't say that.
