Chapter 13

~Skylar POV~

Weeks past, learning I have two broken ribs and had to had the unborn baby out of me. I was back on my feet, but everyday I had a dream;

I was standing there at the gate. A herd of the dead come out of nowhere and I seen everyone running, I turn and look and seen Daryl and Becca got in a truck with a motorcycle in the back, I watch them took off. I turn back around and seen Merle, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, my husband, Becca ex-boyfriend and more turn into the dead. My husband seen me, he started running toward me. Fear and heartbroken came over me, I couldn't move at all. I had my katana in my hand, I was going to stab myself but I heard a child voice behind me. When I turn to look...

That when I wake up, all the time on that part and ever since I been out of that bed, people look at me different. Like I was the dead itself. All day I haven't seen Becca, or Daryl. Shane won't leave me alone, asking where is she at. Lori keeping Carl and Sophia away from me. Why? I don't know?

"Sky..." I heard a voice behind me, I turn around. "Mr. Smith?"

"The test failed..." Was all he said and walk away. How nice of him, not saying hi just saying the lab he use on the baby even tho it wasn't fully grown yet, test have fail to save the living race. I walk over to the pigs, watching the piglets play in the mud as couple of people who know what they are doing cutting some pigs balls off so they get fat. I look over at the cows, lazy damn things. "I wish David was here" I whisper to myself, I listen as the wind blew past me and all I heard was...the dead? I look toward the woods, "shit!" I said as I ran back to get my Katana, everyone was running. A herd of the dead came bursting threw the fence and started to eat the live stalk! Then on the living, I cut couple of heads off, I felt someone grab my arm. "We need to leave!" Shane said,"follow me and I get some supplies!" He nod and follow, we grab as much as we need put it in the RV and I jump rose with Shane as I seen Becca with Daryl. I was jealous of her, because of Daryl but she need to be happy for once. We stop as Rick group meet in one piece, "we told them to build a 15 ft concert wall as 5ft under ground!" Becca said, "did they listen, no and look what happen!" We all look at each other. "Guess we are part of your group now" I said, cleaning my katana. "We are heading to the CDC" Rick said, I look at Becca as Daryl put one arm around her. "Sky, why don't you ride with us? It be nice to have someone with us, it weird only two in the car and not three" Carol said, but Lori gave her a look. "Sure Carol" I said with a smile I hop in their car and we drove off to the CDC!
