"Okay guys, group therapy. You know the rules so settle down." We all stopped talking and looked to Dr. Hunter. He was wearing a spongebob tie which looked pretty ridiculous with his new lab coat. He must have caught me looking because he said, "I work on the children's unit too and that's all they watch all day, spongebob," he said to me with a smile. I just gave him a faint smirk and a nod. He then turned to talk to a nurse who had just entered the room.

I was sitting next to Kellin, wanting to hold his hand but knowing I couldn't. After last night we couldn't stay away from each other which I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. He smiled at me when he caught me looking at him. I just couldn't help it. 'You like what you see?' He mouthed. I just nodded, trying not to smile too big. Today I felt great; maybe a little nervous about performing my song though. I had asked Kellin this morning if he could sing it with me and he was all for it. He really liked how edgy the song is.

"You can tell all the emotion you put into it," he said, looking down at the piece of paper. I just nodded, thinking about all the songs I've written over the years. This one is definitely one of my favorites. It doesn't really compare to the one I was writing for Beau though. I only had the first verse on that one but I knew it would be perfect, something I'll be proud of. I can't wait to continue working on it with Mike when I get out of here. Maybe we can find a bass and guitar player to make it perfect. The band would then be complete.

Speaking of Mike, I talked to the doctor and he told me that Mike would be able to come and listen tonight. He normally wouldn't be because it isn't during visiting hours but I convinced him, telling him it would be good for my mental health if my little brother was here to hear my song. He bought into it thank God.

"Okay!" Dr. Hunter spoke up. "Today we hear from Tony, Matty, Oli, and Kellin. Why don't we start with Tony?" Dr. Hunter said, gesturing to the shy boy. He looked so nervous like he wanted to cut himself out of his skin. Tony was a pretty great guy, I've talked to him a few times and he told me this morning that he plays guitar which is awesome.

"Um..." Tony began, looking down at his hands. "I guess it all started with my girlfriend."

"You're breaking up with me?" Tony asked, feeling his heart begin to shatter. He was in love with Cara. She was everything to him. How could she not love him anymore?

"I'm sorry Tone, I just can't right now. I just want a break. Maybe we can get back together sometime but right now I'm just under a lot of stress from school." She looked like she was sorry at least.

Tony nodded his head, holding back tears. "Okay," he whispered, looking at his feet. Cara hugged him before walking out of his room. Tony sat on his bed, his head in his hands. He just couldn't stop shaking. It felt like his world was crashing down on him. His mind instantly started to replay the good times he had with her like how they would skip gym class to talk in the "haunted" hallway. Or the time they drove his car 5 hours out of town to have a picnic by the huge waterfall. Or the times they fell asleep in this very room. He would just listen to the sound of her heartbeat and hope that it was beating just for him.

He felt the tears come as they silently fell down his cheeks. He didn't know what he was without her. After an hour of crying and shaking he fell into a dreamless sleep, the stress of the day melting away as his breathing settled.

After a week of Tony sitting in his dark room panic stricken, Cara called and wanted to get back together. She said that the break was a mistake and that she truly wanted and needed him. He of course was quick to say yes. He didn't realize though how anxious he would be around her. Every other day he would have anxiety that she was going to break up with him again. "Cara you're with me for good right?"
