A/N this chapter is pretty long but I couldn't find a way to split it so whoops

"Are you sure it's all set up right and ready?" I asked nervously, looking to the instruments on the makeshift stage. The party was less than an hour away and we still weren't entirely ready. Mike just got here a few minutes ago with the kegs and half of the guys weren't here yet.

"Vic it's fine, calm yourself," Alex laughed, playfully shoving me. I let out a sigh, pinching my nose. I was a little more than worried for tonight. I tend to overthink and things just keep popping into my head.

"What if no one shows up?" Alan's parents still didn't know that we were raising the money for them but could you imagine if we walked away from this with only like $100? It would be kinda embarrassing. I set out a few tweets with directions and I got a fare amount of responses but I was still nervous. Kellin's Facebook event showed promise too; over 200 people said they would be attending.

I was a little anxious to play in front of people, this marks the first time my band would ever preform. Alex wants us to play at least two songs and I can't even think of a second one yet. I know we plan to try out the one I wrote for Beau which has me pretty on edge. Through my lyrics all my feeling will be out there. Kinda scary.

If I was overly nervous Austin was 100 times worse. He was all for the idea, really pumped that we would be doing this for Alan but it didn't stop him from sitting in the corner by the back door crying. I decided that it would probably be best to give him some space and none of the other guys seemed to notice, too busy with setting everything up.

The warehouse itself was huge. We set up a small stage all the way in the back leaving tons of space for people to stand and dance. The place looked like a small nightclub which was pretty exciting. It made me feel like we would actually be performing in front of our fans even though we don't have fans and none of these people know about us. It won't stop me from dreaming though.

"Vic? What's the lineup going to be?" Tony asked, guitar in hand. I looked down at the crumbled piece of paper in my hand.

"Um, it's Alex's band All Time Low, Oli's Bring Me The Horizon, Kellin's Sleeping With Sirens, Matty might do a song, I'm not sure. Uh, us and then there's room for Austin if he makes up his mind," I mumbled, looking over to the tall boy who seemed to have composed himself.

"Okay, you think you're ready?" Tony asked, giving me a smile. I felt my stomach tighten.

"Uh I don't know," I said nervously, playing with my hands.

"It'll be fine man, we're all friends here." He gave me a pat on the back before heading over to Mike who was playing around with the drums.

"Hey mate!" Oli called from the open door, dragging his band in behind him.

"Hey man."

"You okay?" He asked, looking around. "Everything looks great and the rest of the guys just got here, some people showing up too." I looked behind him and saw Matty and Kellin slip through the door, Kellin's friends following.

I haven't talked to him since the funeral, maybe just a few times in passing about the concert. If I'm excited for anything it's to hear him sing tonight.

"Uh yeah, I'm fine just nervous." Oli gave me a knowing look.

"It'll be cool, I'll make sure to warm up the crowd for ya," he winked, going over to talk to Alex.

As it got closer and closer to the doors opening I felt more and more trapped. I guess we're just going to have to see what happens...
