Chapter 5 The Fight

"Come on then! Come at me!" I was trying to turn in circles but it wasn't working.

  Shaun was making groaning noises which were interfering with my hearing but it was reassuring that he wasn't seriously hurt.

"Ha, Ha, Ha!" Came the reply it sounded far off but I knew that it was a trick.

  I started thinking of who the voice sounded like but came up blank, so I started asking myself,

Who would want to take Claire and knock out Shaun?

I came to a lot of answers on that last one but I didn't know any Vamps who would do this type of thing.

  I saw a flash behind me and as it came around I stuck my foot out and tripped it up.

"Ha!" I shouted, "Not so tough now are you!"

"Well, well, well never thought I'd be taken down by a girl - in a fight obviously - but you learn something new everyday." He replied.

That voice! I thought, I know that voice!

I still couldn't see his face so I took a step forward.

"Who are you?" I asked curiosity getting the better of me, like always.

"Can you not recognise the voice of the most popular boy Vamp in the academy. Jesus Jessica. I thought you of all people would know me!" Even though I couldn't see him I could hear the smirk in his voice.

"Oh, right sorry your Grandness! How could I not have known it was you." I said sarcastically.

  The most popular boy Vamp - at the moment - is Greg Michigan. Everyone says that he apparently likes me, but I don't think so.

"So then." I wanted to get a conversation started, "Why did you attack Shaun and where is Claire?"

"Well if you must know..." He got up and walked towards me closing the space between us, "I attacked Geek Freak over there cause he was in my way an-"

I cut him off, "Wait what do you mean he was in your way?!"

"I mean he was in my way of getting to you my dearest Jessica."

"Right ok." I replied more than a little creeped out, "So where's Claire then?"

"Oh she's in her locker, it was a tight fit but she's pretty small so we squeezed her in."

  Greg flipped Claire's locker key up into the air and I caught it. I marched over to her locker, opened it and flying out came Claire.

  I kicked Shaun who immediately got up. I then went over to Claire whispered a quick fill in of what's happened and did the same to Shaun.

"Ok. Well, I'll be off then." Said Greg.

"Not so fast!"

  We all turned around to see Vice Principal Mr Hutchinson standing at the end of the corridor, hands on hips. Looking very pissed off.

"You lot are coming with me!" He said.

  Just as he said that the bell rang for the end of break.

"Oh come on! I'm never gonna get anything done today!!" I shouted.

A/N Oh come on indeed. Jessi's having a bad day but could it get any worse????? Mr Hutchinson has caught them!! What is he going to do and how?!?!? You guys will just have to keep reading to find out! Vote and comment (although I can't reply) cause I love them both!
