Cami's POV

Early in the morning Kj left for a walk on the beach with his mom and dad, catching up. Timena and Ari left to buy decorations for a party the Apa family were going to host this evening. I threw on a cute shirt and jean shorts, good for now.

I loved cooking, but not as much as I did now. KJ's parents had the most beautiful kitchen, decorated 'beach style.' It was grand, and each time I walked in it inspired me to cook. I decided to make breakfast for everyone since they were too busy to do so. I cut fruits, cooked eggs, and made my special pancakes. Every time I made them for kj, he loved them and I hoped his family would to.

As I finished preparing the morning feast, I received a message from kj.

Hey cams, we're almost home xx

                                Kage, don't worry about me

I can't help it, but we're still on our way

                             Hurry the foods gonna get cold!

Awe my girl made me breakfast😘 hot

Kj and his parents finally arrived home not long after. I pecked kj and hugged him. "I hope you're all hungry, I made breakfast!" I exclaimed. Timena and Ari joined us as well, and we sat around the table serving each other the food. "Ok Cami damn, this is so good" timena declared. "Thanks T." I thanked her.

"Thanks again for the delicious breakfast but it's time to prepare for the party" Tessa announced.

We all did our fair share. The girls and I decorated, kJ's parents cooked the food, and kj got the drinks and cleaned up. At times, kj and I would mess around, but not until getting lectured by Tessa to hurry and finish. We all looked around and stared at how nicely decorated the house was, and how the food was displayed beautifully. "Uh wait, we almost forgot! Cami? Would you be a dear and help with the backyard?" Tessa pleaded. "Of course tessa." I responded.

I cleaned the backyard and set up more decorations. As I hung up some balloons, I felt large soft hands grab my waist. I yelped and I fell back. I was just about to hit the grass when instead I fell into kJ's arms. "Kage? What the hell you scared me!" I gasped. "Sorry babe, didn't mean to," kj smiled. I jumped out of kJ's arms patting myself down. "Wow, it looks nice out here," Kj complimented. "Yea, I'm proud of it," I boldly remarked. "It's almost time for the party, let's go get ready,"

We showered and changed. I put on this really nice dress that kj had bought me awhile back, that fit my body perfectly. I curled my hair and did my makeup. Spritz Spritz Spritz andddddd done.

"Babe, ya ready?" I asked kj. Kj spun around after fixing his hair. His jaw dropped. "Mila, you look stunning," he gulped. "No, more than that, I can't help but-" he lowered his head and intensely kissed me, I felt my body tingle and my heart flutter. "Kage, you messed up my lipstick!" I remarked looking into the mirror. I looked into his sparkling eyes filled with lust. "I love you so much Camila" "I love you more kj"

After re-applying my lipstick kj and I walked out the room. Some guests had already arrived, and had stepped back into the yard. "Wow, it looks nice out here" I overheard someone say. I looked at kj and we both laughed. I helped Tessa serve food to each and every guest. Every once and awhile I would get compliments, I guess they knew who I was. The loud music, talking, laughing, and dancing had kj and I doing all of it. He gripped my waist as I swayed my hips to the music. "Hey kj, someone's here to see us" tessa interrupted. "Mom, in a second" Kj replied. "Kj, we haven't seen them in so long, come on, both of you." And with that Tessa walked away leaving us no choice but to follow her. We pushed open the doors to the inside and were greeted by an unknown family I didn't know, but kj did. His eyes grew wide. "Kage, no offense, but who are these people?" I asked concerned. "Uh-they-they're" Kj stuttered. "What?-" before I could finish my own sentence, everyone turned their heads and smiled to someone at the front door. My heart stopped. I saw the all too familiar face I didn't expect to see again. "Emily! How nice to see you darling!" Tessa shouted over the loud music. Kj and I looked at each other stunned, neither of us knowing what to say. "How about all of us sit on the couch and catch up?" Tessa suggested. "That would be wonderful" I'm guessing Emily's dad replied. So we did just that. "Kj! You've grown up so much! Who's this lovely gal?" The man looked at me. Emily walked over to us and hugged kj, he stepped back startled. I gulped hard. "Dad! He sure has!" She exclaimed blocking me away. Her long blonde hair was pinned straight and her dress wrapped tightly around her body, showing her curves. She flipped her hair back and looked at me, she raised her eyebrow rudely and turned around walking back. "So kj? You gonna introduce us?" Emily's mom declared. Emily rolled her eyes at her. "Yes," he responded. He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer. Emily watched our every move, obviously jealous. "This is Camila," he stated. "Hi Camila!" Everyone replied in unison, except Emily. "Hi everyone!" I smiled. "This beautiful, smart, hilarious little human here, is my girlfriend" Kj proudly announced. At this point Emily was fuming. She was in total shock, as well as her parents. "Well as happy as I am for you brother, I thought you'd date Emily here!" Emily's brother commented. I guess kj noticed my frown, because he continued with, "nah, I'm good"
"Kj!" Tessa said shocked.

Kj grabbed my hand and pulled me away, walking towards the hallway. "Look cams, I'm sorry for them" he looked at me sadly. "It's all good kage, just didn't expect that from them." I looked down. "You don't have to worry about them, they're probably just gonna visit then leave tomorrow" Kj tried to make me feel better. I liked that he tried, but that was just so embarrassing. "Right now, let's have fun and forget about what happened," Kj remarked. "Only if you got get the drinks" I giggled. "Deal"

Kj walked away, and left me there as he went to do as I said. I walked to the yard avoiding anyone's eye contact. Suddenly I was stopped. "Hey sorry for that, I didn't mean it to come off as it did." Emily's brother explained. "It's fine," I said looking towards kj. He was talking to Emily. My heart stung. Seriously? "Hey, you good?" He asked. "Yea Uh, just tired, what's your name by the way?" I asked him forgetting about kj. "Noah," he responded. Noah stepped closer. "You're so pretty, Camila" at first I was suprised at how he knew my name, but then I remembered kj said it aloud. "Thanks" I thanked him. To be honest, Noah was good looking too. He had the same dirty blonde hair as Emily, and a similar haircut as kJ's. He had a perfectly chiseled jaw, and was pretty muscular. "How long are you going to be here?"
"Actually, we're staying here with you guys for a little bit" he responded. "We haven't been in New Zealand in so long" he said looking out into the distance. "Well, if you'd like we could go to the beach in the morning?" What, well that just came out. "Aha really? Perfect" he laughed. We stood there, smiling into each others eyes. "Noah! Come here please" his mom called to him. "Coming! Well see you later" he winked. I smiled, he was actually so sweet. For the rest of the night, kj and I barely talked, In fact, he was too busy talking to Emily. Noah spotted me again and kept me company. We talked about our childhood, laughing and making jokes. Who knew we could get so close in just a few hours? The night came to an end and everyone had left, it was just kJ's family and Noah's. We were all settling into bed. Meanwhile, kj and Emily were still talking. I was pissed at him. He didn't even come back to bring me my drink. He probably gave it to Emily instead. He was so endorsed into Emily he forgot about his girlfriend. Noah and I said our good nights and went to our separate rooms. I was dozing off when I heard the door open. I heard him remove his clothes and hop into bed. He usually kisses me goodnight and cuddles me.

But he didn't even do that.
