KJ's POV
I was tired of moping around and being sad about Cami. I knew I'd never be able to be with her again, and it broke my heart. Cami hadn't been active on any socials, and from what the cast has said, they haven't seen her much either.
My friends from New Zealand had come to visit me and offered to throw a party. Knowing them, I knew this party was going to be a good one. They knew about Cami, and they supported me, but they also wanted me to have fun now that I was single. At first, I wasn't all excited, but then I imagined that music and all the dancing. Suddenly I was excited.
"Kj, bro there's gonna be so many hot babes aye." My friend since forever, Matt told. I laughed. "Sorry mate. Not really interested in finding someone right now." He looked at me and shook his head. "Really Matt. You know how serious Cami and I were...you know how much I love her." Just talking about her made me feel so many things. "So you're saying you still love her?"
I hesitated. But the answer was clear. "Of course I do. She's my first love. I'll never stop loving her."
"I'm sorry mate. As much as I loved you and Cami together, I feel like this is what you need. You need a distraction." Matt pat my back, trying to convince me...and he kind of was.
"I'll think about it, aye. Let's finish getting ready though."
We prepared the decorations and set up the food. People started arriving quickly and soon the party room was filled.
We danced, and drank. The party feeling was strong.
"Hey, you're kj right?" I heard a voice say. I turned around and saw a girl standing there, smiling. She had glowing skin and the brightest smile. "Yea, that's me."
"Wanna get a drink?" She asked, smirking. I looked behind her and saw Matt giving me a happy thumbs up. I resumed my focus on her. "Sure."
We headed to the 'drink station' and poured our drinks. "I love your show by the way." She complimented. "Thanks..."
"Oh it's Sadie." She smiled. "Sadie. I like it.""So kj, do you have a girlfriend?" She asked. I blushed intensely. "Why? Are you interested in me or what?"
She now blushed herself, her cheeks beaming with pink. "I-I mean yea. I always have, ever since seeing you in the show." She grinned. "Well just so you know, I don't." I took a sip of my drink. "Good to know." She grinned.
I invited her to dance, and she happily agreed. We entered the huge crowd of people dancing, it was so tight Sadie and I were so close that our bodies were rubbing against each other.
It was extremely heated. The room was really hot, so Sadie and I were breathing heavily as we danced. My hands traveled down to her waist, and she moved her hands to my hair. Her face inched closer, our nose almost touching.
"Can we go out for s second?" Sadie asked. "Of course."
She lead me outside, and as we stepped out we felt the immediate fresh air. "I'm sorry I just needed space." She giggled. "Honestly I was losing consciousness too." I joked. "Well maybe we should ditch? I mean it's too crowded and I'd love to get to know you."
"I don't know, my friend really wanted for me to be here."
"Well maybe he won't notice if you left for a little bit. Especially considering he's busy." She pointed behind me and there stood Matt and some girl intensely making out. They both had to be wasted, Matt never got lucky with girls.
She laughed when I noticed. "Let's go then."
Luckily neither of us were drunk so we could safely drive. "If you don't mind, I have somewhere we could go, it's outdoors but you seem adventurous." She was right. "I'm down."
