|| I've missed you ||

Cami's POV

"I cannot believe all of that happened last night." Lili said taking a bite into her food.

"I know, Noah was pissed but him bringing a girl here was not ok."

"Besides that I'm glad that you and Kj are talking again, I missed you guys. And although I did like Noah, he's already acting like you're his so he's a no no."

I sighed. "I know I'm happy too but we haven't established anything yet."

"What do you mean haven't established anything?" Lili asked.

"I mean like we haven't talked about dating again or anything like that."

"Well obviously not. You guys can take it slow right now."

"Yea but last night we almost kissed. I mean, technically we did because he kissed my cheek but I'm telling you lils, we almost made out." I laughed.

"I knew Keneti never got over you," Lili smirked. "And I know you never did either. I'm glad he's not being toxic anymore too because he was a real bitch."

I looked at her and my eyebrows furrowed. "Yea...I never knew he could be like that."

"When you guys broke up it's like he was broken too. You don't have to worry about him acting like that to you cami because he loved you and I know Kj would never hurt you."

"No I'm not worried about that at all."

"Ok good." Lili smiled. "Now go get ready because Kj's gonna pick you in...1 hour." She spoke looking at her watch.

"Shit." I got up quickly and ran to my room. "Lock the door when you leave!" I yelled as I entered my room.

"I got you!" She answered.

I managed to get ready in the time I had and was sat waiting for Kj.

I was nervous and I didn't know why. It's not like we didn't know each other and it's not like  this was a date.

I heard a sudden knock on the door and my heart started beating fast.

I sprayed some perfume quickly then opened the door.

Kj smiled instantly and hugged me. "Hey."

"Hey." I answered.

"Ready to go?"

"Yup." I grabbed my purse then locked the door behind me.

I sat in his car and Kj was now driving.

I sat awkwardly until I decided to speak up.

"So how's...everything?"

"It's been...ok I guess. I was supposed to visit my parents last month but I couldn't because I had to stay here for a photo shoot and a commercial."

"Well I'm sorry you couldn't see them but I'm happy about those opportunities."

He turned over for a moment and smiled at me, then moved his gaze back at the road.

We listened to music and then arrived at our destination. We were at a meeting place for lunch, but you could eat outside and you had a view of the beach.

We ordered our food and when it arrived it was so good.

"I can't believe I've never been here before."

"I found it recently and I knew I had to bring you here."

The waiter came and gave us our check. "Thank you guys for coming, you guys are such a beautiful couple." The waitress beamed then walked away.

Kj and I looked at each other and smiled, then laughed. I wasn't so opposed to what she said, but obviously we still weren't official, and I didn't know when we would be.

"That's the best compliment I've ever gotten." Kj joked.

We walked down to the beach, and I took off my sandals to place my feet on the sand comfortably. It was sunny, but not too sunny, and it wasn't windy either. It was simply calm.

I watched as the waves moved back and forth. I concentrated on them because they were so calming.

"I know I haven't told you but you look gorgeous." Kj places his hand on mine and held it.

"Thank you Keneti. You look good too." I held his hand too.

"Is Noah still staying with you?" Kj asked.

"Not...necessarily. Well, yea...kind of."

"Elaborate."

"Well, he just... we got into an argument and let's just say he was really and at me too so he decided to stay with another girl for the time being. Most of his stuff is still at mine though." I spoke. I looked at the sea to avoid looking at Kj.

"I can tell there's a lot more to the story, but I won't even ask."

"Yea you don't wanna know." I assured.

"He did that to me once, back in New Zealand. He came over, got pissed at me, then left. All because he thought I stole his girlfriend. When in fact, I hadn't but he just didn't believe me."

"Wow...that's interesting."

"Yea, so don't feel too bad." He scooted over then held me.

I placed my head on his shoulder. I felt so comfortable like this, I felt at peace. This was the one time I had felt like this in a while. I didn't care about anything else. I didn't care about what Noah had told me.

I could feel Kj looking at me. I turned to look at him. He looked at my lips then leaned in. I felt my stomach doing jumps. But I was ready, I was longing for this.

My lips touched his and they moved together perfectly. I placed my hand on his face and kept it there as we continued to kiss. We parted for a second to breathe. "I've missed you so so much Mila."

I smiled. "I've missed you more Keneti."
