Falling for you

Cami's POV

I woke up slowly, feeling myself in the position that I fell asleep in. I turned to look at the clock.

7:24 am

I sighed as I rubbed my eyes. Waking up this early on my own wasn't convenient at all right now. Instead of staring at the wall for hours, I decided to shower, because hell I needed it.

I turned the knob and all the water came falling. I stepped in, running my hands through my hair. I took a nice shower, and got dressed. As I sat in front of the mirror, I looked at all the different aspects of me. I could put on a smile and everyone would think that I was perfectly fine.

Ding

I picked my phone up.

Message from "NOAHF"

noahf- cami I hope you're up and ready, you're gonna have a visitor soon!!

camimendes- I am, and who?

noahf- let me describe him: he's handsome and kind and he's a great guy named Noah

camimendes- WTH!! yay you don't know how excited I am!! how far are you?

noahf- I'm just about pulling up so come open the door!

camimendes- ahhhhh ok ok I'll be right out

Of course Noah would be the type to pull something like this. I'm sure he didn't think twice before flying out here from New Zealand. I ran out quickly and looked out my window. He had just arrived in a black car, his wavy hair moving with the wind. He had a suitcase and he wore sunglasses. He had a nice shirt, leather jacket, and black ripped jeans on. I ran to open my door. Once he saw me he dropped his stuff and cane running to me. I smiled and jumped into his arms.

"You're crazy you know that right?" I told him as I hugged him. "For wanting to come see my boo? Never." He hugged me tighter. "I missed you so much, it's been so long. Here I'll help you put your things inside."

I helped him settle his stuff in the extra room and as he freshened up, I made breakfast for the both of us.

"I don't mean to get straight to the point but...how are you holding up?" Noah asked sipping his coffee. I stopped what I was doing, and looked at him. "Honestly, not good. At all. You know...considering I'm the one that broke up with him I thought I'd be able to deal with it, but I just can't." I served him his food and I sat down. "I think I still love him Noah."

Noah reaches over for my hand. "I know that you want him back. But maybe this is for the better. I know you'll never stop loving him, but maybe you'll love him in a different way. I hope to do whatever I can to help you through this." Noah assured me. I smiled slightly. "Thank you Noah, for doing this. I appreciate it more than anything." I leaned over and hugged him. Somehow only his presence made me feel better.

We ate and sat on the couch, catching up on everything that had happened to us from the time we didn't see each other. Apparently he didn't have a girlfriend but only did that to tease. And how did I feel about that? Relieved.

Some time later...

I stretched and opened my eyes, realizing almost immediately that Noah and I had fallen asleep. As I was about to wake him up, I stopped abruptly when I saw him sleeping soundly. Noah had a natural slight smile to him, where the corners of his mouth were always a little turned up to where it looked like he was smiling. It was peacefully quiet and it felt really nice. As I felt my eyes closing once more, suddenly someone started knocking on my door. Noah and I both jumped up, and I laughed when I saw his scared face. "I'm coming!" I yelled, quickly getting up and running to the door. "H- Lili? What are you...hey."
