Eggman stood looking at all the screens. Each one blacking out slowly from the black air engulfing them. "So this is how it ends then." He said to himself. He looked at his watch. This was around the time he would have a good idea and put it into action to catch that annoying hedgehog. He looked back at the screen. There was no need for that now. The mobian world was about finished. Time was almost up. He had taken a class in Mobian mythology. He never believed that the gods in that book existed. Let alone that evil would succeed. He watched as the last camera went dark. The mobian world was gone. It was only his lonely secluded island left. Him and his creations. "What do we do now boss?" The little yellow robot said. Eggman stood there with a sorrowful look on his face. What was there to do? Yes he was evil. Yes he wanted to catch that blue blur. Yes he wanted to be well known....but....he never wanted the world. He might of wanted the world to acknowledge him but bot to rule it. That's what made him so different from other villains. He wasn't in it for reward. He was in it for acknowledgement that he could do it. His whole life his creations and his intellect was laughed at, frowned upon, and even thought of as weak. Eggman sighed.  "We wait." He said finally. Eggman knew there was nothing he could do by himself. He wasn't good enough to make creations to stop a god, let alone  prophecy. He walked out of the room and down the halls of his lair. He wanted one last feel of the place before it got decimated by the evil demons and god of death and destruction. He put his hands behind his back and continued on. He observed every nook and cranny of the place. He spent most his life here. Plotting, thinking, creating. It was all gonna just be wiped clean off the earth. Nobody would remember Doctor Eggman. The name would not ring a bell. He sighed. "Well, guess this is it." Something knocked on a door far away. He ignored it. Stuck in his sorrowful mood.....there it was again. "What is that?" He said walking towards the noise. It got louder and louder. He stopped in his screen room. He listened again for the noise. Was the god already here? He thought he had more time! He heard it again. It was a knock coming from the lair door. It echoed down the hallway. Each rasp upon the door telling the Doctor his fate was to be met. Eggman straightened up. "Here goes nothing." He walked towards the door. His footsteps clicking against the freshly polished ground. The noise continued on the other side. He reached the door and looked at the panel. The one button to open the door....the door that would be the last thing he would see. He closed his eyes and pressed the button. The door swishing open.

He waited. Nothing. He opened an eye. "Sleeping Egghead?" He looked at the Blue hedgehog that he thought was dead. Mixed feelings of relief and annoyance washed upon him. "What are you doing here?" He managed to say. It sounded kind of rude but he didn't care. "Oh I don't know maybe its because the whole world has gone to hell!" Sonic said rather angrily. "So--Sonic?" Tails said trying to get up. "Stay down bud," Sonic said. Eggman  noticed the yellow fox and pink hedgehog. "We need your help Eggman....please," Amy said seriously. Eggman looked at the three mobians that he usually couldn't stand. The three mobians that sabotaged his plans. The three mobians.....that were all that was left of the mobian world..... Eggman smiled and moved out of the doorway. "Welcome to my lair, population uno......"
