When Lauren walked into the school the next day, she didn't know what to expect. She knew it wouldn't be anything like yesterday, but she couldn't help but feel like something would happen. Lauren walked to her locker holding her book bag in her arm. She shoved her book bag in her locker and slammed it shut. Lauren spotted Camila running up to her. Lauren rolled her eyes and started walking down the hallway.

"Lauren." She heard Camila call her name. Lauren kept walking, Camila kept calling. "Lauren, Lauren, Lauren, Lauren, Lauren, Lauren, Lauren, Lauren!"

Lauren finally turned around and crossed her arms. She saw Camila's pissed expression and replaced it with her own. Lauren raised her eyebrows expecting Camila to talk, but she said nothing.

"Uh - I need you to take Luna." Camila held out Luna so Lauren could take her. Lauren inspected the fake baby.

"I can't take that." Lauren said looking at Camila. Camila furrowed her eyebrows. "I don't  think I'll  be a good parent for that piece of junk."

Camila scoffed and almost stamped her foot. "This 'piece of junk' is our grade, Lauren. We're supposed to both take care of it. Don't  you get that?"

Lauren took note at the panic in the girl's eyes. While this grade was nothing to her, it was everything to Camila. She grabbed the baby out of Camila's arms and put them in her own. Camila smiled and turned around.

"Don't expect me to keep this thing! I'm giving this to you at lunch!" Lauren called after Camila. Camila kept walking just as Lauren did earlier. Lauren rolled her eyes and walked to her first class.

When Lauren arrived she saw a couple kids from her health class, and two of Camila's friends she was walking with yesterday. She sat down in an empty seat and set the baby on her desk. Almost half of Lauren's class had fake baby's for the stupid assignment. Lauren looked at her baby.

"You're ugly." She whispered to Luna. "Yeah... I'm talking to you." The fake baby looked back at her with lifeless, fake eyeballs.

When lunch rolled around, Lauren saw Camila with her friends. She got up from the empty table she was at and walked over. She gave Camila two taps on her shoulder. Camila turned around.

"Hey Lauren. Need something?" Camila asked taking a bite of the banana that was in her hand.

"Here's  the baby." Lauren held out Luna. Camila took her instantly. "See you later."

"Hey," Lauren heard a voice from Camila's table call out. Lauren turned around. A tall girl, with tan skin, and blondish hair was looking at her. "You wanna sit with us?"

Lauren didn't  know what to say. She was all alone, but she didn't like these people.

Camila patted the space in between her and the girl. Lauren decided to let out her nice side and sit with them.

"Lauren this is Dinah, that's Normani, and this is Ally. Guys this is Lauren. Be nice." Camila snapped at her friends. Camila's friends (Dinah mostly) felt the urge to ask every single girl around Camila if they liked anybody or wanted to be with somebody.

Lauren looked at Camila's fiends, then at Camila. Camila hinted the nervousness in Lauren's emerald eyes. When Dinah, Normani, and Ally talked to each other instead of Lauren and Camila, Camila saw her opportunity.

"It's okay, we won't bite." Camila whispered to Lauren who was looking down at her pants. Lauren looked at Camila and raised her eyebrows. "I know you're nervous. It's okay."

Lauren shook her head and rolled her eyes. "I don't  get nervous." Camila rolled her eyes at Lauren's statement and sighed.

"Hey, can you come with me some place this afternoon?" Camila asked Lauren. Lauren widened her eyes and raised an eyebrow. She hadn't expected Camila to invite her anywhere.
