Over the past three days, Camila and Lauren had not had a conversation with each other. Camila was too childish to even look at Lauren, but Lauren didn't want to talk to Camila first. Lauren had kept in touch with Vero, the girls had exchanged numbers and talked all the time. The more they talked, the more jealous Camila grew.
Lauren was on a phone conversation with Vero, making plans to hang out.
"So, tonight works for you? We can always do another time if you want." Vero suggested.
"Tonight at seven works perfect, Vero. I'm excited to hang out with you."
"Same here. You're a really great person, Lauren."
"Thanks, you aren't so bad yourself."
"Okay, so seven, tonight. Meet me in the lobby?"
"Okay. See ya."
Vero hung up the phone and set it down. Lauren spotted Camila sitting in the chair reading a book. She walked over to her.
"What are you reading?" Lauren asked the younger girl. Camila showed the cover of the book. "Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix. Nice."
When Lauren didn't leave, Camila got agitated. "Is there anything you want, Lauren?"
"I want you to talk to me, and not like this, in a civilized way, the way we usually do it." Lauren said crouching down by Camila.
"I am talking to you in a civilized way, Lauren. Maybe you're just too stupid to see it." Camila responded.
"Yeah, cause calling me stupid is so civilized. Look, I know what you're mad about, and I'm sorry."
"Are you?"
"Yes. I just said I am."
"Well, a lot of people say things but don't mean them. Don't you have somewhere to be? Like up Vero's ass?"
Lauren grabbed Camila by her arm and pulled her into the bathroom, she shut the door behind her and pinned Camila against it.
"You have completely crossed the line." Lauren barked. "This is not the Camila I know. You've been this way for about for days now, and it needs to stop."
"You know it's true. You like her. I'm simply stating a fact, Lauren." Camila whispered.
"I don't Vero, don't be stupid." Lauren replied.
"Yeah, that's me, Lauren Jauregui's stupid friend." Camila pushed Lauren off of her. Lauren blocked the door.
"What has gotten into you, Camz? You are the nicest person I know, I don't know why you're acting like this." Lauren said staring at the brown-eyed girl in front of her.
"You know, you're really oblivious sometimes Lauren. Why don't you just leave me alone?" Camila asked crossing her arms.
"I'm just trying to be a good friend." Lauren stated.
"Yeah...friend." Camila gripped the door knob and managed to push Lauren aside. She walked out of the bathroom. She slipped on her shoes, grabbed her wallet, and walked out of the room.
"Hey, Mila. Wait up!" She heard a voice yell. She turned around to see Dinah. "What's wrong, Chanco?"
"I don't wanna talk about it here." Camila said.
Dinah and Camila walked all the way to the Starbucks across the street. They ordered their drinks, when they received them, they sat down at the nearest table.
