All of the girls were in the car going on vacation with Dinah's family. Camila and Lauren had not talked since last night and Camila couldn't help but overthink everything she knew. Her and Lauren weren't dating but she wished that they were, she couldn't take the idea of Lauren being with someone else other then her. Ever since last night, she didn't feel like sharing Lauren with anybody else, she wanted her all to herself. Camila was stuck in the middle of the car, Lauren and Normani were in the backseat, and Dinah and Ally were up in the front.
"You sure you're going the right way, Allyson?" Normani asked not liking the idea of Ally driving.
"Yes, I am." Ally answered. Dinah scoffed.
"No, she doesn't. She won't listen to the freaking GPS lady!" Dinah argued.
While the two bickered back and forth, Camila couldn't help but focus her eyes on Lauren. Instead of making actual conversation, Camila pulled out her phone and texted her.
{Camila:} Hey 🙂
{Lauren:} Uh...hey? Why are you texting me? I'm right next to you.
{Camila:} I know. I just figured it would be better to have a conversation with you this way so no one eavesdrops.
{Lauren:} Oh. Okay. What did you wanna talk about?
{Camila:} Why have you been avoiding me today?
{Lauren:} I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not avoiding you Camila.
{Camila:} Bullshit Lauren. I woke up and you weren't even in the bed, you were on the floor. I asked you questions like how you slept and you ignored them. I tried to kiss you and you backed away from me.
{Lauren:} You're mad cause I didn't kiss you? 😂
{Camila:} That's not the only reason why I'm mad.
{Lauren:} Then give me the top reason of why you're upset.
{Camila:} Last night we had a heart to heart conversation. We said that we liked each other and we told each other why. We also made out. I thought that would mean something to you.
{Lauren:} It does...you just don't get it. It's not easy for me.
{Camila:} Well you don't have to push me away because of it.
{Lauren:} Yes. I do have to.
Lauren put her phone away and looked at the younger girl. Camila's brown eyes met Lauren's green eyes.
"Please talk to me." Camila whispered.
"It's not easy, Camz." Lauren whispered back. "I wish it was..."
Having feelings for Camila reminded her of what happened with her old boyfriend, Brad. She was worried that her relationship with Camila would once turn sour as theirs did. Camila did not understand what Lauren met by 'it's not easy' she had already admitted her feelings, Why was it so hard to commit to those feelings.
When the girls arrived at the hotel, they met Dinah's parents inside.
"Girls, where have you been? We arrived here thirty minutes ago." Malika asked her daughter's friends.
"Sorry, Mom. Someone didn't listen to GPS lady, and we ended up getting lost. Not mentioning any names." Dinah said pointing at Ally. Ally rolled her eyes at Dinah.
"Okay, well we're already checked in, so you five can go up to your room. Here's the card. We'll be up there shortly to check on you." Gordon said giving Dinah the card to their room.
The five girls walked to the room in complete silence. Dinah swiped the card through the slot, the door made a beeping sound and unlocked. They opened the door and walked in.
"I call the bed!" Dinah said flopping on the nearest bed.
"What? No. We have to share." Normani told her friend. "Two people for each bed, and someone has to sleep in that chair."
"That sounds fair, but how do we know who gets the bed?" Dinah asked.
Normani shrugged and turned to the girls behind her.
