-One Week Later-
Camila was sitting on her bed writing in her journal. She had been doing that often, she wrote about how much she missed Lauren and how she hadn't stopped thinking about her.
It's been one week. One week. One week since she walked away. I shouldn't be thinking about her this much, but I do. I miss her. There's nothing I can do to get her back though. Truth is, This whole thing scares me. I care so much for her. I would do so much for her, but so little for myself.
Camila set her pen down and sighed. There was two knocks at her door.
"Go away." She muttered.
"Chanco! You better open this door!" She heard Dinah outside her door. Camila got up and opened her door for Dinah. "Wow. You look like shit."
"Whatever." Camila mumbled.
"Mila, you've been in this mood all week. You need to snap out of it."
"You don't understand, Dinah. She's gone. She's been avoiding me. You know how that makes me feel?"
"Bad, I know. But that doesn't mean you can just sit here and rot." Dinah checked the time. "We have to get to school."
Camila sighed and walked out of the room with Dinah. Camila grabbed her backpack and kissed her parents goodbye.
"Cheer up, Chanco." Dinah said as they walked out of the door. "I'm sure this isn't forever."
Camila gripped on to her backpack tight and walked down the sidewalk to school.
When Dinah and Camila arrived at school, Normani and Ally were already waiting for them. They rushed up to them already knowing what Camila was depressed about."Mila. Are you okay?" Ally asked rubbing her friend's shoulder.
"Does it look like I'm okay, Allyson?" Camila asked. She scoffed and walked away from her friends. She looked over and saw Lauren putting her stuff in her locker. She was feeling so much rage, she walked up to Lauren and shut Lauren's locker so Lauren had no choice but to pay attention to her.
"What the fuck?" Lauren looked up to see the brown-eyed girl standing in front of her. "W-what are you doing?"
"Why are you doing this to me?" Camila asked raising an eyebrow. Camila plastered a serious look on her face that Lauren had never seen before.
"Doing what? I don't know what you're talking about."
"Don't act stupid. You're putting me through hell, Lauren. I want an explanation."
"I can't give you one."
"Yes you can. Why did you distance yourself from me? You hurt me, don't you realize that?"
"I'd rather I hurt you by leaving you rather then hurt you by staying with you. You don't get it, Camila. I'm doing this for your own good. Things got out of hand, we can both admit that."
"I wanna be with you though. You knew that. Yet, you chose to leave anyway. You know how that makes me feel?"
"Hurt, heartbroken, horrible. I know because that's what I'm feeling all of those things too...but you have to move on."
