When Lauren walked into school, she ran to Camila's locker. She quickly slipped the note inside.
"Lauren." She heard a voice behind her. She turned around and saw a guy. He had brown hair, and a toothy smile. "Hi, I'm Austin."
"Hi. Uh, I don't mean to be rude, but I have to go." Lauren said stepping away.
"Then I'll make it quick. I invited you and your friends to my party on Friday. But, I don't know if you got the invite because of...Well, I haven't seen you hanging out with them. So, would you be interested in coming?" Austin asked.
"I mean, if I'm not busy and piled up with homework, I don't see why not." Lauren shrugged.
"Great. I'll see you Friday, then." Austin waved and walked away.
Lauren rolled her eyes and ran to her locker before anyone caught her there. She was hoping Camila would read the letter instead of throw it away, but she would never know.
When Camila arrived at the high school with Dinah, the two girls walked to Camila's locker.
"You sure she said all of that stuff, Mila?" Dinah asked as Camila turned her lock.
"Yes, I'm sure. It sounds like she hates me, Dinah. And that's a problem because...I love her." Camila opened her locker, a note fell out. She crouched down and picked it up.
"What's that?" Dinah asked.
"Something with my name on the back of it, I don't know." Camila unfolded the paper and read it's contents.
Dear Camila,
Throw this letter away if you want to, don't listen to what I have to say, that's fine. I just need to say these things to you.
I'm sorry. I know that it's too late for me to even think about saying that, but I still need to say it. Everything I said to you over the phone, it didn't mean anything. I lied to you. What we had was everything to me as much as it was for you, and that's why I had to cut things off, so I didn't hurt you.
We can't be together, Camila. I know what you're thinking; "why?" Well, the answer is because I don't understand how you could want someone like me. I mean - Who wants to be spotted with a criminal? You don't deserve to be with someone as low as me. You deserve someone who has amazing grades, a nice smile, a pretty face, is a good kisser, and is the best they can be just for you, and overall has never been to jail. You deserve everything, Camila. You can't be with someone who is nothing. I would break you...and I never wanna see you broken. I can't love you...because I don't know how. Please, find someone who makes you smile and laugh. And I hope they can make you happy, because I sure as hell can't.

LJ? Lauren Jauregui. Camila bit her lip as she folded up the letter. She let out a sigh.
"She...didn't mean it." Camila said. "Over the phone, the things she said, she didn't mean it."
"What are you talking about, Camila?" Dinah asked.
"She cared...all along. She's only doing this to protect me."
"From what?"
"From her. She doesn't want me to get hurt. She cares."
"Did she say anything about loving you back?"
"No. But that's fine, because knowing she still cares is the best feeling that I've felt all week."

Friday came quickly. Camila, Ally, Normani, and Dinah were in the bathroom at Normani's house, getting ready.
