It was late in the evening, Jungkook was outside his house doing some work since his parents never did it. Once they got home from their jobs they'd always be lounging around expecting Jungkook to do all the house work. So that's what he did. Every time he got home from school he'd do all the cleaning.

He was taking care of things outside, the blazing hot sun projecting onto his porcelain-like skin. He exhaled in a sweat, bending down to the ground and picking up anything that didn't belong. His veins popped up out of his hands, they were getting over heated.

Jungkook heard something like an engine or two come or stop close to his house. He'd probably freak out if it was his parents, they shouldn't be back this early again. He glanced over, seeing a slender boy come out of a car. Jungkook squinted his eyes because of how bright the sun was, seeing this boy was Taehyung.

"Hi Tae!" Jungkook happily said, smiling when he saw his best friend.

"Kookie~~!" Taehyung immediately ran to Jungkook, swallowing the younger up in a tight hug.

Jungkook giggled, hugging the boy back. "What made you decide to visit me?" He asked, looking up to the older.

"Well, I was just worried because I didn't see you at all in our last classes or after the bell rang. So I wanted to make sure you were okay." Taehyung explained, twisting Jungkook some in his arms.

"Don't worry, I'm fine~" Jungkook insisted, finding it sweet how Taehyung cared.

He knew why Taehyung got worried so much. His sister went missing years ago and was later found dead. Ever since, Taehyung would stress over not knowing where everyone was or what they were doing. He had to make sure everyone was okay - - his past built who he was today. Although, no one would ever mention that situation to Taehyung, because they knew he would break all over again by being reminded of that situation.

So, now you know Taehyung a bit better. Remember, take everyone's words with a grain of salt until you know how they really are.

"Are you sure?" Taehyung asked, pulling away from the hug a bit to review the boys' facial expressions or anything.

"Yes~ I swear."

Taehyung let out a sigh of relief, not trying to be too obvious about it. Truly, he was glad Jungkook was okay. Considering he was with Yoongi.

"So where were you then?" Taehyung sat down on the porch stairs, patting a spot on the steps so Jungkook would sit beside him.

"With Yoongi-hyung." Jungkook sat beside Taehyung, seeing the older boys' face drop. "Wait- it's not what you think. He didn't do anything to me nor yell at me... or whatever you might imagine. We had a great time away from school.."

"So he just suddenly started treating you normally again like nothing ever happened?" Taehyung leaned back on the stairs, shaking his head. "Don't you think that's suspicious?"

"But he apologized to me... and he was sincere about it. I was shocked when he broke down to me, but it's all resolved now.."

Taehyung shook his head again, looking into Jungkook's eyes. "Don't trust it." He said quietly.

"But-"

"No. Listen... please.. it's so weird that he randomly apologized to you. Think about it. He's had an unknown grudge on you for years.... and now he just says sorry and that's it? What did Yoongi even say to you? How'd he apologize? Did he justify himself?" Taehyung tilted his head.

"Oh.. I asked why he treated me that way and he said he was a slave to someone's words to act a certain way. Then he said he couldn't be that way anymore."

Taehyung huffed boldly, thinking that was the most ridiculous thing he's ever heard. "Are you serious? That doesn't even make sense. Does it make sense to you? 'I was a slave to someone's words' ?? Huh?" He pulled the younger into his lap. "Tell me, Jungkook — does it seem like a real apology? What he said made no sense. Why would he have to act a certain way? How is he a slave to someone's words?"

Jungkook looked down, not sure what 'side' to take. Does he go with Yoongi.... or Taehyung?

"Kookie...?" Taehyung tapped Jungkook's shoulder.

"I don't want to upset you.. I'm just.. very untrusting of Yoongi. It's not just the way he's treated you, it's the way he's treated all of us. All those years and he suddenly gives us the cold shoulder. I fought Yoongi because of the way he's been treating you. You might have thought I was stupid for doing so, but really... I was tired of his shit. I think everyone else was too." Taehyung ended his words with a soft sigh.

Jungkook looked up. "You fought him because of the way he's treated me?"

The older nodded. "Yeah. I mean, it was for all the hurt you had. I remember before you'd just cry to me every time wondering what you did wrong. I beat him up for that too. Now he's trying to pull the sorry card? I don't think so. It's not going to work on me, and I don't think it should work on you. Now I regret even texting him that one time. He probably made all that stuff up at Seokjin-hyung's house too."

"You sound like an overprotective boyfriend or something," Jungkook was somehow able to smile softly. "I appreciate you caring that much. It's not like my parents would care.. but I wouldn't tell them things like this anyways."

"I do?" Taehyung practically only focused on the first statement out of Jungkook's mouth.

"Unless you want me to repeat my sentence again, then yes."

Taehyung didn't care anymore, he grabbed Jungkook's face and pressed a kiss onto the lips of the younger boy.

Yoongi felt like bolting out of his car and ripping Taehyung into a million shreds. And yes- he was stalking.. in case you wondered. He indeed wanted to visit Jungkook again, but he couldn't now. Yoongi didn't even watch to see if Jungkook kissed back or not, he just sped up down the street to go home.

"Fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you!" Yoongi growled, literally wishing he could run down Taehyung with his car. What the fucking hell?! What a bitch!

Yoongi didn't even realize he was crying now too.
