It was morning,
and..
Jungkook was sobbing, shaking his head profusely as he clung onto Yoongi's shirt. He hid his distressed face into Yoongi's chest.
"I d-don't wanna go back to school!" His voice cracked, even his body shivered out of anxiety.
Yoongi's lips shaped into a frown as he embraced the other boy.
Jungkook was acting like a 2 year old.
But really, he had every right to.
After everything that happened to him, Yoongi definitely understood.
"After what t-they-..." He choked on his tears, chest rising and falling urgently wanting to catch a breath.
"Shhh~ I understand." Yoongi whispered soothingly to the younger boy, rubbing his head as he kept Jungkook close to him each millisecond.
"I-I never w-wanna go back!" Jungkook always stuttered so badly when he was upset, his brain was just flooded with negativity in the moment.
He couldn't remove the scene in his head from when he got beat up.
He remembered what got shoved down his throat too.
The blood.
The laughter.
How no one helped him.
How they all stood there.
"Jungkook..."
"NO!" The younger boy practically screamed, curling up into a tight ball on the bed as he kept wailing.
Yoongi watched as Jungkook's shaking amplified even more.
The boy was having so much mental and physical trauma. It was almost like PTSD. He was obviously having some sort of severe panic attack.
"You don't have to go..." Yoongi cautiously and carefully placed his warm hand on Jungkook's back.
"You don't ever have to go back to school again...."
Jungkook didn't respond. His head was twisting and turning, unorganized and busy on every 100th thought per second.
Never had he hurt like this. His head was hurting worse than every migraine combined together. No.. not like a physical pain. It was odd.. his mind was starting to feel foreign to him. As if he was losing it. He had thoughts that he never would have conjured up in his wildest dreams.
"Jungkook...you..you really don't have to go....." Honestly, Yoongi wasn't going to lie to himself, Jungkook was kind of scaring him. He was extremely perturbed for the other boy.
Maybe Yoongi could find something to help the younger calm down.. surely he had something, right?
He didn't want to keep seeing Jungkook this sad.
Not anymore.
He sat up from the bed to begin to walk away.
Jungkook felt Yoongi's hand leave his back which immediately made him look up.
Before Yoongi could even walk away far enough, Jungkook grabbed onto his hand.
Yoongi turned his head.
Jungkook stared at his hyung with glossy and wet eyes.
"H-Hyung... please don't leave me.. please don't go to school...you're the only one I can count on right now...." Jungkook spoke, his voice meek. "Y-You made me so happy hours ago...I r-really need you.."
Yoongi began to get teary eyed because of Jungkook's soft words.
Jungkook held Yoongi's hand to his chest and clinged onto it.
"Please...." Loose tears rolled down Jungkook's cheek.
"Okay baby..." Yoongi's voice hardly recognizable to Jungkook's ears, but he still heard him.
That was the first time Jungkook had been called that.
It was also the first time he heard someone else whisper something behind himself that didn't sound like Yoongi.
A/N: you'll meet them soon. very very soon.
