"Hyung...?" Jungkook's voice echoed throughout the mute atmosphere.

The rain wasn't yelling anymore and the man had disappeared.

It was as if it all never existed. The rain was softly pattering against the window and no bizarre figures were around. Nothing threatning. Just, normality.

Did Jungkook do something wrong?

He just saw Yoongi sitting on the couch, legs crossed and head turned to stare out the window as if it had his undivided attention.

When did Yoongi come home? Jungkook didn't even see him until then.

The younger bit the inside of his cheek, a bit clueless as to why Yoongi wasn't saying a word. Or even looking over to him for that matter.

"I am glad you are back...I have to tell you what happened.." Jungkook walked over to another couch to where he'd be sitting across from Yoongi, trying to connect their eye contact.

Yoongi let out a small breath, shifting his arms into a cross position while not bothering to even acknowledge the boy.

"It was really scary and..confusing, you may not believe me even if I told you." The younger was referring to the audible voices all around him and the man that was present only previous minutes ago. "I must have been dreaming or...I imagined the whole thing but wasn't for sure if--" Jungkook stopped mid-sentence when he saw Yoongi rise up from the couch he was on, acting as if he was going to walk away.

"Hyung-- where are you going?" Jungkook's eyes grew weary. Did Yoongi not want to hear what happened? He didn't just want to bottle up the incident because what if that man was still hiding in Yoongi's apartment somewhere?!?

Yoongi, silent as a mouse, carelessly walked over to his staircase. From Jungkook's perspective, it seemed as if he wanted to head upstairs and just leave everything behind downstairs.

Jungkook had nervous impulses to explain to the older boy about the frightening creature-like man that could possibly be upstairs. He just had a feeling that something very evil was up there.

"Yoongi..." The boy nearly chased after him as his hyung made it halfway up the stairs until he grabbed Yoongi's hand to stop him.

"Why are you going away..?" He asked, voice hollow and crushed with panic.

Yoongi finally turned around, not looking very cheerful.

"Why am I going away?" His voice stern this time. "Well, maybe it has to do with the fact that you literally made deep dents in my wall by hitting your head against it when I told you to stop? Maybe it has to do with the fact that you were screaming and crying like a fucking maniac when I approached you to see if you were okay? I mean, the people around the other apartment dorms probably thought I was murdering someone. Oh, and maybe it has to do with the fact that now you're acting clueless and pretending you didn't just do what you did. Seriously, Jungkook. What the fuck got into you? I already have enough stress to deal with and now I have more money to come up with to have my wall fixed. Now how am I supposed to do that? Geez, maybe that's why I'm going away. I'm not playing your games, whatever the hell you're doing." Yoongi started getting longwinded, going off.

"B-But.. I-I..--" Jungkook got shushed again.

"There's literally no point in trying to justify what you did. I don't even want to hear an excuse. Come on, Jungkook! Damnit you should know better not to do shit like this! I mean look at my wall--- fuck!" Yoongi yanked his hand out from Jungkook's grip, which happened to be loose now, heading up the stairs again.

"B-But Yoongi--!" Jungkook tried clinging onto the older boy while he went up the stairs, just.. ultimately terrified of being left alone downstairs. What if /it/ happened again? What if the rain started yelling again? What if that man tried to stab him this time? Jungkook had to tell Yoongi what happened but the older boy made it pretty clear that he didn't want to hear a word from the younger's mouth.

"Don't fucking hook onto me, I'm not dealing with you right now!" Whether it was fully intentional or not, Yoongi pushed Jungkook off him and went full charge up the stairs. The younger had to cling to the railing, nearly going full force down the stairs from being pushed. It gave him flashbacks of how he was bullied at school, how he was pushed to the ground.

He gasped, his body freezing up and shivering from the memories. His eyes filling with tears again. All Jungkook heard was a door being slammed shut. Slammed shut out of anger. He knew that slam all too well.

Jungkook started to cry, holding onto the railing like his life depended on it. He felt like he could lose his balance at any second. That if he let go he'd fall to his death and that would be it. His hands were shaky and clammy, desperately re-gripping the railing every three seconds.

Everything hurt.

His aches and pains seemed to increase in that moment. The flashbacks from school woke up the inflammations that had forgotten to kindle the sleeping pain in the depths of his body.

Jungkook let go. He let go of the railing and fell. He didn't know why he just did that, but his body just released everything.

His body sliding smoothly onto the ground, then curling up into a ball and pressing itself against one of the corners of a perfect and untouched wall.

Jungkook kept crying and whimpering, knowing Yoongi was furious with him.

But what did he experience then? A lucid dream? Or what?

No, he knew he was concious.

Jungkook took both his hands and shakiky clutched his head.

All he heard was yelling. That was it. Distorted yelling.

He knew Yoongi was yelling.

Jungkook whispered the older one's name through his now quivering lips, tears flooding from his eyes like the rainstorm outside. He wanted to be held. He was terror-stricken. His eyelids pale and sore, his body cramping and tensing up.

He kept repeating those actions until he passed out on the floor from his body being too overwhelmed with traumatic stress. He couldn't handle anymore.
