"Okay, I'll do truth!" Taehyung squealed, just like how a five year old would for receiving candy after being good. "Alright, so~~ Is it true you still wear those Little Mermaid socks even though you're in the twelfth grade?" Jungkook questioned, using half his hand to cover his pink lips to hide the goofy smile on his face.

Ah, Biology class. You'd think this years seniors would be mature, well-managed, serious, and pondering their future after the school year would be over. You'd be insane for thinking that way. Besides, what high school student was serious? Well, maybe except Kim Seokjin and Kim Namjoon. The typical 'know it all' stereotype attached to their personalities perfectly. Nonetheless, they were actually sweet and caring boys. That's what everyone else says. Take it with a grain of salt, whatever anybody says.

The teacher that was supposed to be in during lesson time was in the main office. Yet again, the secretary of the school had issues with the printer and the desktop computers. Anyone who would sign into the school had to sit at a desktop. Most parents or visitors mistakenly took the computer screen as a touch screen. Even though the sign CLEARLY says: 'This isn't a touchscreen. Use the keyboard and mouse, please.' Although, half of the screens had scratches and marks— other screens were distorted from viruses the students put on them to prank the school workers, thanks to the advanced technology classes they had available. It'd take forever to get those screens fixed. No one knew what they were doing, which wasn't surprising. They'd have to call in a computer engineer again. In this case, the teacher named Ms.Bae had already been gone fifteen minutes, leaving the students to basically do whatever they pleased.

At a rectangle shaped black table sat seven boys. Whenever someone would be a senior in high school, they could choose where they wanted to sit. Teachers despised that, it was easier to do assigned seats. It'd be hell for them anyways since each year all the students would be distracted with each other. Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Kim Namjoon, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jungkook— all seven were friends. It was pure luck they even had most of their classes together. Especially in Biology period.

So, while everyone else chatted loudly in the dimmed classroom, so did the seven- no, four* boys of the table did as well.

"Guess this answers your question." Taehyung pulled his ankle up onto the table surface, scrunching some work papers while doing so. There it was, the bright blue Little Mermaid socks. Ariel's head popped out of the design a tad. You could barely see it since the rest of it was hidden by Taehyung's shoe. "I can't believe you still wear those, it's been like? Almost seven years, Taehyung." Hoseok could barely talk, he was laughing too hard at the scene in front of him. All these years and that's exactly what Hoseok needed to hear to make his day.

"Well, Ariel is still.. part of Taehyung's~ World~~~." Jungkook sang in the tune of 'Part of Your World'. That alone gained giggles.

"Can you all please keep it down? I'm trying to read." Seokjin looked up from his thick book, clearing his throat a bit. "Oh, can you all please keep it down? I'm trying to read~" Jimin teased Seokjin's words, sounding like Hermione Granger on purpose as an innocent mochi smile appeared on his small frame. Huffing, Seokjin placed his book down calm and collectedly. "It's really not good to stay distracted. When Ms.Bae comes back she's going to smack your head and give you a concussion when she sees those papers aren't complete." Seokjin reasoned, gaining silence for only a few seconds.

"I don't think we care." Hoseok spoke up with a shrug, shoving his paper assignment off to the side that was half marked with lazy scribbles. "Exactly." Jungkook rolled his eyes, clicking the end of his jet black pen on the table. That goddamn clicking. It was adding onto Yoongi's headache that he was keeping silent about. "Alright, well if you don't want to graduate and do anything with your life it's your own fault." Seokjin sighed, picking his book up again. In fact, he was the eldest in the group. He was more like a mom to the other six boys.. and he didn't want to see them fail high school. He always wanted them to have successful futures..

"Okay okay whatever." Jungkook, the youngest, said while ignoring the concern in Seokjin's voice. Jungkook was one of the youngest in his grade. In his friend group, he was still the youngest. He didn't really care for school, he saw it as a prison. Just like everyone else. Except for the prissy-pots who claimed they loved everything about school. All he wanted to do was watch outside the window, explore the unexplored, try wild things, go on adventures with his young life!

"Come on! Let's do more truths and dares before Ms.Bae comes back!" He sat up a bit in his chair, facing Hoseok, Taehyung, and Jimin. "Who's going to ask me truth or dare this time?" Jungkook clasped his hands together.

"Why don't you ask Yoongi-hyung. He's doing nothing." Jimin eye smiled and looked to Yoongi, who was sitting in his chair with his head half down. He was rubbing his temples and keeping quiet. It had been a long day for Yoongi. A very long day indeed. He wanted to run from this classroom. He wanted a couch to pass out on. He wanted his apartment more than anything right now. He already lived alone. Yoongi's parents kicked him out for a reason no one has yet to know.

"Nothing?" Yoongi gave a gall look while forcing his head up.

"Yeah! Give me a dare hyung! I've had so many truths. Or maybe I can give you a dare." Jungkook's voice perked up, his attention on his hyung, Yoongi.

"The only thing you've given me are three headaches today." Yoongi muttered in a low voice, glaring to the younger boy. "Yoongi-" Namjoon shoved his shoulder, giving him a look of 'that was a mean thing to say'.

Namjoon never really got why Yoongi was always a sourpuss around Jungkook. A couple years ago they were really close with each other. Then something just changed in Yoongi. No one knew why he had grown cold around Jungkook in particular. It wasn't like the younger boy did anything bad to Yoongi. Even Seokjin tried having a conversation with Yoongi multiple times in private, yet it would always be the same answer. The 'I'm like that towards everyone' kind of answer. Seokjin knew it wasn't true. So did the other four boys. All they knew was this behavior started happening when Yoongi announced he got his own apartment.

"Sure, but you know I give the best headaches available." Jungkook winked, a playful fox-like look on his young face. Yoongi stared at the boy for a few moments. He had this feeling inside him. He didn't want to even respond verbally. Ultimately, he ended up kicking the side of Jungkook's leg from under the table. "What the hell, Yoongi?!" Jungkook grasped his leg while rocking in his chair for a bit. Seokjin inhaled, shaking his head at Yoongi in crestfallenness. Jungkook was the 'baby' of the group, but Yoongi sure did act like a bigger one. "Come on, that's too far..." The eldest of the group whispered in Yoongi's ear.

Yoongi ignored it.

"Here, I have a dare for you. You see those rats over there?" Yoongi's bony finger pointed to a plastic see through box cage. For Biology, some animals were allowed in the classes for visuals or observations. These rats just arrived from another science lab, though the lab was unknown. There weren't any tags or documents yet. That's why Ms.Bae went to the main office to print out the papers for it using one of the desktops. "I want you to open the side of the cage and get three deep whiffs of rat shit. Since you gave me three headaches." Yoongi coiled his finger into a fist, crossing his arms harshly and waiting.

"Don't you think that's a bit drastic, Yoongi?" Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows, glancing over to Yoongi's slight sadistic eyes. "Of course not. It's a dare. That I want to see, now." Yoongi replied, leaning back in his own chair and crossing his legs as if he was the boss. "Go ahead, do it." He pressed.

But Jungkook just smiled. Even though it hurt.

"Ok."

Standing, Jungkook strolled up to the cage. "Where do you open this?" He murmured to himself, looking around the boxy object curiously. Really, it was kind of a strange cage. There was red duct tape around the bottom edges of where the plastic was. It might have just been a color label as usual. No opening? Jungkook couldn't find any.

He looked at the end of the cage, there was a small sliding spot. That must have been it. Some sort of paper fell out of the spot, dropping to the floor. Jungkook didn't notice it though, nor even see it. He leaned down, and stuck his nose into the opening. The smell was putrid. His nose wanted to close up and hibernate for decades after smelling inside. While finishing up, the scent irritated Jungkook's lungs; causing him to produce somewhat of a smokers cough, weirdly enough, before closing the sliding spot and heading back to his seat. Regardless, he did it. He did Yoongi's dare.

Then the bell rang.

And that's where it started.
