"Won't the teacher be mad if we're unexplainably not there?"

"Who cares. You'd rather be in class?" Yoongi asked.

"No- not at all." Jungkook quickly shook his head.

Yoongi decided to go to the field far away from the school. It was a field that lead to another part of the city, but it was huge and it expanded to so many things. They'd really be alone now, because hardy anyone came out here. This is usually where Yoongi would go if he'd ditch class. It was a place he could mentally rest at.

The sun highlighted the vibrant green in the grass, trees gently swaying all together with the slow breeze. Faint noises from cars in the background, and wild flowers decorated the grass— it was like a gift for the eyes because it was so beautiful.

"Welcome to Neverland, AKA my escape place from prison." Yoongi said softly, leaning up against a nearby tree and looking out to the horizon of the field.

"This place sure could pass as Neverland, it's very prepossessing." Jungkook decided to sit in the field grass, taking his phone out and going to the camera app. There was no way he wasn't going to take photos of this place. It was too beautiful not to capture memories.

Jungkook carefully angled his phone the way he wanted it, snapping some photos of the picturesque nature. Jungkook wished he knew of this place sooner. It would be a great place to go to for him to get out of the house... or to just be alone. He was glad Yoongi took him here, it was totally better than being trapped in a classroom.

Jungkook put his phone down for a moment and looked at the boy leaned up against the tree. "Hyung~?"

"Hm?" Yoongi turned his head to the younger sitting in the grass.

"Take selfies with me!" Jungkook smiled.

Yoongi bit his lip. "But I look ugly..." He said.

"What?" Jungkook stood, going over to Yoongi and examining his face.

Yoongi's heart began pumping quickly, his crush was examining his face. Now wasn't the time to blush. Oh god no.

"I don't see any ugly, hyung." Jungkook spoke sweetly to Yoongi, causing the older boy to gummy smile. Yoongi quickly covered his face, he hated his smile. He hated it too much.

"Cute~~" Jungkook took photos of Yoongi hiding his face, giggling.

The blonde tipped his head up, uncovering his face and looking at Jungkook. "Wait- no! Are you taking photos of me??"

"More like video now." Jungkook bunny smiled, seeing Yoongi's shocked look. Jungkook started running away from Yoongi, still giggling as he did.

"Aish!!" Yoongi began running after Jungkook, smiling like an idiot.

Jungkook squealed once he knew Yoongi was chasing after him, still having the phone record whatever was happening. There was plenty of room to run, so Jungkook kept running in one specific direction before taking twists and turns across the field.

Yoongi tried his best to keep running fairly close to Jungkook, but the younger boy was so much faster than him. It made a small pout form on his lips as he ran. Still, he'd chase Jungkook all day if he could.

"Can you catch me hyung?!~" Jungkook stopped running, a good distance away from Yoongi.

It was adorable, how they both were basically playing a game of tag.

"I don't think he can." Jungkook whispered to his phone while it was recording, laughing under his breath.

"Yah! I can catch you, I'll prove it!" Yoongi insisted while taking a moment to catch his breath.

"Standing there won't help!" Jungkook dashed off again, running to an area that had a lot of tall trees.

Yoongi did the same, this time determined to catch the younger. He quickened his pace, getting a good stride going. He finally made his way to the trees, going as fast as he could physically run and snatching Jungkook into his arms. The force of it made them both fall to the ground, right in the plush grass. It was like falling on a soft cushion.

Both of them laughed, remaining on the ground and Jungkook was hooked up in Yoongi's arms. They were both so joyful.. like nothing in the world could ruin their time.

"Aish~~ we're seniors and we act like small children." Yoongi chuckled, sitting up and sighing happily in the emerald green colored grass.

"You said we were in Neverland so we never grow up!" Jungkook got his way out of Yoongi's arms and went behind the older boy, giving him a back hug. He noticed his phone was luckily propped up against a rock, recording both boys. Pure fate. What a perfect way it fell to the ground to where a rock propped it up to record them both.

"Look! It's in the perfect position!" Jungkook looked into his phone lens, his chin displayed on Yoongi's shoulder.

Yoongi noticed too, but he was more focused on Jungkook hugging him. He thought about how stupid he was that one time— the time he just rejected the younger hugging him. Really, being against Jungkook was actually heaven on Earth. He a bit shyly leaned back into the other boy, smiling. His blonde hair ruffled a bit from running all over the place.

"It's like the phone knew to capture what's important.." Yoongi looked into the phone lens too.

Jungkook nodded, squeezing his hyung in his arms while making this high pitched cute noise. It got Yoongi to giggle. "I love hyung so much~~" Jungkook smiled widely to the phone lens.

Yoongi's heart melted like ice cream on a hot summer day. Jungkook was so fucking precious, he couldn't believe it. Although, Yoongi didn't know how to take Jungkook's words because the younger has said the same thing to Jimin, Taehyung, and basically everyone else. It wasn't weird to say you loved your friends, but it sure did get Yoongi's heart in a melted mess. He only wished it was the love Yoongi desired.

"Hyung loves Kookie too~" He replied, so thankful that he got the younger boy to come with him outside and ditch school.

Really, this was the happiest Yoongi had been in a long time. He hadn't smiled, laughed, giggled authentically — anything of that sort in ages. He wanted to keep Jungkook only to himself so badly now, because he knew how to find happiness again. All he had to do was look behind him.
