andrew saved my life . what for was he just acting or was he really trying to protect me . i stopped hallucinating and realized i was in a ditch without the orange bubbles , but dead leaves . i used the bow and arrow to shoot a rabbit and wild turkey . i set the turkey and rabbit on hot stones to cook next to the fire i made when i heard a twig snap i pointed the bow and arrow at the noise seeing the tip of a child's boot poking out of the bush . i knew who it was .
sabre : mogi you don't have to hide . you hungry ?
mogi : yes .
sabre : well then come eat I've had two kills today .
mogi : thank you . i can fix your stings .
sabre ; really ? how . he pulled out some leaves from his pack . and asked me a question .
mogi : it a little gross so can i tell you how i fix your stings . i have to chew up the leaves and spit on the stings .
sabre : just do it . its only three on my arm . he chewed the leaves and spit on my arm . it felt really gross , but relieved the pain . thanks mogi . i spotted a burn on his arm . i have something to help that . i applied some burn medicine to his arm and he acted like a child .
mogi ; eww it smells like pine sap and a rotting skunk ..
sabre : it helps the burn heal .
mogi : thank you .
sabre : come on . we should get moving . we walked for hours until the sun went down and we climbed into a hollow oak tree well hidden by rocks and smaller trees . i set up the sleeping bag and fell asleep . a few hours later i felt the gentle shove of mogi's small fist on my shoulder . what's wrong ?
mogi : i'm cold . can i share your sleeping bag .
sabre : sure . i have a brother your age back home and we always shared a bed .
mogi : how did he react when your name was picked .
