I fear when the doctor comes in to tell Grayson something. But Grayson soon walks back in. He grabs my hand and smiles at me.

"Our baby girl is healthy."

"Oh, thank God." I smile.

"What happened?" Scarlett asks, worry in her eyes.

"Clara is perfect." Grayson says.

"Clara?" David asks. "I thought she was gonna be named Anna."

"Your uncle Luke argued because he hates a special girl named Anna Castro, so I changed it to Clara Lillian Allen, like the girl from the Nutcracker."

"Had to have a dance name." Gray playfully rolls his eyes.

I softly slap him, making him chuckle.

Then the nurse walks in with our baby girl, and hands her to me.

I cradle her, staring with a huge smile down at her. Grayson's head is right next to mine, also smiling. The twins stand on the other side of the bed.

"Whoa," They both say.

Grayson's phone rings and he sighs. "One second." He picks up and walks out of the room.

"He can't take a second away from work for his newborn daughter." I say to the twins, letting them hold Clara.

"Dad is... special." David says.

"When are grandma and grandpa coming?" Scarlett asks.

"Dad said they might be a little late." I reply, softly kissing Clara's forehead.

Grayson walks back in, shoving his phone back in his pocket. "Sorry," he says. "Work."

"I'm glad that's more important than your daughter, honey." I smile mockingly at him.

"You're seriously gonna turn this against me? I, for one, at least make some money. All you do is twirl around on a stage."

Before I can argue back, Sherry runs in. "Where's my granddaughter?!"

Her face immediately brightens my mood, but mark my words, I will continue our quarrel later. "Hey!" I smile.

"How are you, sweetie?" She pushes Grayson aside, not a good decision. He's already pissed at me. But if he yells at Sherry, I will kill that boy. He just steps back, his nostrils flaring.

"Much better after I've gotten that stupid baby out of me." I laugh.

"Oh my God, Grayson was such a pain. He had the biggest head ever."

"Yes, you screamed quite a bit." William mentions.

"Yeah, yeah, dear. May I hold her?"

"Before I do?" Grayson scoffs. "Not happening."

Sherry's eyes widen. "You haven't held your newborn daughter yet?"

"He had a call with his work. Much more important, of course." I say.

"You're worse than your own father."

"Hey!" William and Grayson whine. William just laughs it off, but Grayson gets more mad every second.

David gives Clara to Sherry and she lights up with a smile. "Hi there! I'm your grandma, the best one in the whole world. Your siblings are great,"

David and Scarlett pose dramatically.

"Your mother is wonderful,"

I let out a small laugh.

"And your dad sucks."

Grayson is about to lose it. But it all changes when Sherry gives him Clara, and he holds her for the first time.

"Hey princess," He says. "You have your mother's beautiful blue eyes."

Clara lets out a small, adorable baby giggle and reaches her hand up. Gray puts on a huge smile and lets her hold his finger, his thumb the size of her arm.

"I love you so much." Grayson kisses the top of her little head.

"Even more than work?" I ask.

Grayson looks at me, shooting a glare. He gives Clara back to Sherry. "I'll see you later, my princess."

"Aw, I'm your princess?" Sherry asks.

"Mommy, I was talking to Clara."

"Oh." Sherry pouts, making me giggle.

Grayson leans over to me and kisses my cheek, then whispers, "We will discuss this bull shit when I get home. Drop David, Scarlett, and Clara off at Emily and James's because it's not gonna be pretty."

A frown sits on my face as he pulls away.

"I would love to stay longer, but I gotta go." He says, then exits the hospital room.

Downstairs, I hear the door slam. I turn the television off and hide in the closet, not wanting him to yell at me.

He was gone for two days, the Utah Jazz having to travel far, so I got sent home with Clara. Like Grayson said to, I gave the kids to Emily and James, because I knew he was not happy.

And it seriously scares me.

"Faith?" He asks, surprisingly softly.

I hesitate, but walk out of the small closet. Grayson stands at the foot of the bed, his shirt off. His shorts have already been exchanged for pajama pants.

"I'm sorry." He looks up at me. I can tell he means it. He always gets that look in his eyes when he's sincerely apologizing.

"Oh, baby, it's okay." I hug towards him and grasp him in a hug. "I shouldn't have teased you like that. I'm sorry."

We work it all out (and make out for a few minutes), then pick up the kids. Gray coos and gushes over Clara as we tell Scarlett and David their birth day story.

It was the day after the tripping. Grayson and I had just broken up.

But he still came. For me and for the twins.

He holds my hand as I scream and take deep breaths and practically break his hand.

No one told me twins would hurt so much.

I pass out right after they're out. A few minutes later, I wake up to see Grayson holding the twins, cradling David in his left arm, Scarlett in the right.

"Let me see them." I demand.

Grayson looks up, a smile on his face. "You're awake."

"Let me see them, Grayson. Before you trip them."

His smile fades, but comes back when he looks down at the twins as he gives them to me.

I hold them and stare in awe. How did I make this? I killed the last one, but these twins are gorgeous and healthy.

"I love you, Faith." Grayson whispers.

I just ignore him and smile at the twins.
