The end game...

Ebony Maw- Welcome to the thanos hotline. We serve to eliminate imbalances from the universe and destroy or give life until we achieve perfection. Please state your query: if needed, it shall be transferred to and judged by the supreme overlord, mad titan and infitnity gauntlet-wielder: Thanos.

Unknown caller- Hi, uh... I wish to eliminate a big, purple piece of cosmic trash who wears a rusty medieval gauntlet with girlish jewelry. Guess who I am talking about?

Ebony Maw- Stark, you impertinent fool.

Tony Stark- And how do you do buddy?

Ebony Maw- You do know that Lord Thanos...

Tony Stark- Oh so he is a lord now? Thor, I think you have some competition.

Thor- God, not Lord, of Thunder. And I wedged stormbreaker inside his body. You couldn't even scratch him. 

Tony Stark- He threw a moon at me!

Ebony Maw- Enough! Say whatever you want to, but don't torture me with your incessant bickering. Curse you, annoying humans.

Tony Stark- Wow, it seems you are still frosty. You want a coffee to warm you up after that trip through space? Starbucks makes excellent lattes.

Ebony Maw - RAARRGGH!!!!

Thanos- Control your rage, comrade. Remember that we have the universe on command at our fingertips, and whatever this, or any other creature says is inconsequential. 

Tony Stark: Ah, the purple giant honors us. Touche.

Thor- Thanos, I will find you and make you atone for your crimes. Stop hiding like a coward and reveal yourself!

Thanos- Nice try, Asgardian. But I am not dim-witted enough to ruin my entire life's hard work and imbalance the universe again. What I have done is no crime. I have saw my entire planet wiped out in front of my eyes, because some couldn't accept losing a few of us at our own will, and would rather lose all to the will of nature.

Thor- You are insane, Thanos. You are just another madman who needs to be shown his place.

Thanos- You haven't saw your entire people wiped out in front of your eyes, knowing how to save them, but find them call you a fool, a madman and cast you out. The gauntlet's judgement has given you the fortune of having half your team survive.

Tony Stark- Thanks for the great mercy, big man. What's your plan now?

Thanos- I have nothing to fear. It only remains for me to smooth over the imbalances of the universe, giving or taking life where needed, to achieve perfection. And then, eternal peace awaits me. Perhaps I will reunite with her as well...

Thanos cuts the call, an illusion powered by his gauntlet's space and reality stones, and his face hardens after the momentary pang of emotion.

Thanos-Maw. There's lot to be done. Prepare Sanctuary-2 for takeoff.

Ebony Maw- Why don't you use the gauntlet?

Thanos looms over Ebony Maw, staring him down.

Thanos- You are naive, Maw. The gauntlet's energies need to be preserved, for there is more work to be done. We have only one formidable enemy, Thor, and we are already using the stones to hide from his all-seeing gaze of his Bifrost axe.

Ebony Maw- Yes, you are wise as ever, Thanos.
