The Brutish Soldier

TITAN- TALOS' SPACESHIP

Rocket, Nebula, Tony Stark and Bruce Banner are in Talos' spaceship, with a strange quantum portal device in between. As they approach Titan, a voice comes from their comms.

Scott Lang- Work, working, working hard...

Bruce Banner- Lang?

Scott Lang- HEY, hey there!! I thought you guys had left me.

Tony Stark- We did, we came back here.

Scott Lang- Time works strangely here. Fortunately, Dr. Pym made the comms auto adjust your voice speed, so I am able to hear you.

Tony Stark- What are you doing in the quantum realm?

Scott Lang- I thought I'll make a hole in Thanos net, it will allow all of us to attack him at once. The portal is complete, but I don't know how to get you guys through it.

Bruce Banner- We have a portal device. Dr. Pym made it.

Scott Lang- Cool, so lets start.

Tony Stark- Wait. If we open the portal right now, then Thanos will see we are violating the rules of his contest, and snap us out of here in no time.

Bruce Banner- That means...

Nebula- We have to defeat Cull Obsidian and Prince Maw by ourselves.

Bruce Banner- I can--I mean--Hulk can defeat Obsidian, but I don't know how we'll take on Prince Maw.

Tony Stark- Telekinesis is a bit too much.

Rocket- Let the ant guy duel him.

Bruce Banner- That's...not a bad idea, actually.

Scott Lang- What? Duel whom? What's telekinesis?

Tony Stark- Next door to magic. First, let's deal with the Obsidian. Meanwhile, the quantum portal will triangulate Lang's co-ordinates, and we'll get him ready for Maw.

Bruce Banner- So, its time to suit up.

Tony Stark- Its time to suit up.

Tony Stark hands Banner a suitcase. The airlock opens, and Banner clumsily lands on the battleground. The challengers have dwindled compared to before, and there are more dead bodies on the ground. A hologram of Cull Obsidian appears. Bruce Banner glances towards Natasha's corpse, which lies alongside Clint Barton and Rhodes' bodies.

Bruce Banner- This is for you guys.

Bruce Banner gets angry, and barely manages to open the suitcase before turning into Hulk. Hulk pokes the armor inside, and the metal flows out and attaches himself onto him, forming into the HULK suit. Hulk makes a stabbing motion which draws a sword out of his arm, while his other folded arm gives rise to a spiked shield.

Hulk- HULK SMASH!!

Cull Obsidian emerges from the hologram, and both of them engage in ferocious combat. Cull Obsidian smashes Hulk's shield with his cudgel, but it holds, and Hulk stabs him with his sword. Obsidian doesn't seem to bleed, however. He swings his cudgel upwards, dislodging Hulk's shield from his arm. Hulk charges him, and pounds Cull Obsidian on the ground. Obsidian kicks him, and stands up again. Obsidian again does a roundhouse with his cudgel, but Hulk's arm forms the metallic shield again. Hulk's sword has turned into a metal whip, and Hulk uses it to trip him. He then jumps up, and lands on Obsidian with both his fists, the signature hulk smash.

Hulk- HULK!!!

Hulk has again pinned Obsidian, and is smashing his face on the ground. Obsidian tries to swing his cudgel, but Hulk snatches it and throws it away. Obsidian is angry, and pushes Hulk, but Hulk grabs onto his back and they both crash onto the ground. Hulk is brutally punching, but hands are now charged with energy, like a trapped repulsor ray. They break through Obsidian's armor.

Hulk- Give me Thanos!!!

Hulk leaps up, and smashes Obsidian completely. There's a 6 feet hole in the ground, and Cull Obsidian's hologram disappears. Above, Prince Maw's hologram appears. Hulk turns into Bruce Banner, and the suit detaches itself, turning back into a suitcase.

Bruce Banner- I retreat.

Bruce Banner teleports back to the spaceship. Meanwhile, Scott Lang has arrived through the portal. 

Tony Stark- You ready to go?

Scott Lang- Yup, good to go.

Scott Lang looks down the airlock, and sees dead bodies sprawled all over the dusty planet.

Scott Lang- Guys, should I be having second thoughts?
