ROAD IN FRONT OF GENERAL ROSS HEADQUARTERS

Security personnel have organized protective barricades around General Ross' HQ. The head of security barks order through his comms. A ship in stealth mode drops Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff nearby the HQ.

Head of security- Wait, I didn't see you here before. Identification, please?

Steve Rogers- We are here to help.

Head of security- Ha, you think you can fight him? He is the best assassin there is. Just a little while ago he dispatched General Ross' lieutenant officer, and now he is coming for him. He killed 6 highly armed bodyguards with just his swords. I have seen the footage, he is fast as lightning. Ross is dead for sure, only question is how many more shall he take with him.

Natasha Romanoff- He might find he's got more to handle this time.

Head of security- But who are you guys? What do you want?

Steve Rogers (whispering)- We are the Avengers.

Head of security (whispering)- Whattt??!

Security personnel- Sir, there's a breach in the West side of the building! We need backup!

Head of security (to comms)- All personnel head to quadrant number 3. There's a breach in the West side of the building, proceed with caution.

Steve Rogers- Its a distraction, I am heading to the opposite side.

Natasha Romanoff- Something tells me he'll come here. Its the least expected for him to just walk into the entrance, and therefore its the least guarded point.

Steve Rogers- You are right, you must stay here, I'll check out the other side.

Natasha Romanoff- You boys can't stay still, can you?

The situation is very tense. All personnel are on alert, and stand ready with weapons drawn. Some time passes by, and just when they start to think its a false alarm, an arrow hits the head of security, at the tip of which an EMP device explodes and knocks out electronics in the area.

Natasha Romanoff- Steve, do you copy?

Dead silence from the communicator. Security starts firing randomly, when another arrow hits one of them. They fire in the direction of the arrow, but there is no one there. Suddenly, Natasha Romanoff hears a voice behind her.

Ronin- Natasha?

Natasha Romanoff turns and tries to kick the black clad assassin in the ribs, but he skillfully dodges and simultaneously bashes her with his golden arm gauntlets, bruising her forehead and knocking her to the ground. A barrage of bullets open up on him, and he is knocked back but his armor seems absorb the damage, and prevent it from being fatal. Ronin charges into the security personnel with abnormal speed, chopping and slicing through them with his two swords. His golden gauntlet's glint is visible as blood drops around it. 

Natasha Romanoff gets up and shoots him with Black Widow's bite, an electric-taser/blaster, which stop him in his tracks. Nevertheless, Ronin manages to stab another man with his sword, and as he takes out his sword, his hood has fallen backwards. The face looking back at her is of Clint Barton.

Natasha Romanoff- Clint?

Clint Barton puts on his hood once more, and before he can say anything, additional security personnel arrive, opening fire upon them. Clint Barton runs into a back alley, and Natasha Romanoff watches the security personnel chase him. Steve Rogers has arrived as well.

Steve Rogers- Well?

Natasha Romanoff- Call our ride. We need to extract our friend and get out of here.

Steve Rogers- Our friend?

Natasha Romanoff- It's Clint. God knows why he is killing everyone, its probably because of the snap. We must save him, Ross would kill him without hesitation.

Steve Rogers - Don't worry, our ride has got much more than stealth. It should be a piece of cake.

From the sky, a small transponder drops from an invisible aircraft, which depicts a hologram of Ronin. He shoots fake, projected arrows at the building.

Hologram Ronin- Come and get me!

The security runs after him, but the hologram outruns them, and even simulates bullet hits. It is nearly impossible for them to know its a hologram, as the transponder hovers far above them and projects the hologram of Ronin on the ground.

Steve Rogers- Lets get Barton.

Natasha Romanoff- What about that thing?

Steve Rogers- It will return once its done with its job.

Wakandan Pilot (from comms)- I detect the assassin's unique heat signature at a nearby warehouse. I can direct you to his location.

Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff reach the warehouse with directions from the pilot.

Steve Rogers- Stay alert.

Suddenly, the warehouse door opens on its own, and Clint Barton stands inside the dark warehouse. He is still in his Ronin suit.

Natasha Romanoff- Clint?

Clint Barton- Its Ronin.
