WAKANDAN ARENA
Hulk and Hulkbuster are locked in an intense duel with each other. The arena is surrounded by Wakandan force fields which reflect the debris back inside the arena. A large audience has gathered and cheers the fighters on.
Hulk- Hulk smash puny banner inside fake hulk!
Hulkbuster (Banner) - Hulk buddy you gotta stop, please calm down!
Hulk- Rarrgh!
Hulk punches hulkbuster in the face. Tony stark and Thor fly into the arena, hovering above both the champions.
Tony Stark- Hulk, who is inside the suit pretending to be Banner?
Hulk- It is puny Banner! Banner is nothing! Banner make Hulk weak! Hulk smash Banner!
Hulkbuster (Banner)- Stark, the Hulk and I had...problems. Finally, they have come to a head. He has managed to separate himself from me, which is awesome, only that he is trying to pummel me to death.
Hulkbuster tries to escape by flying up, but Hulk gets hold of his leg and smashes him on the ground. Thor prepares to charge in with stormbreaker, but Stark signals him to wait. The Hulkbuster suit is terribly damaged, and just as Hulk prepares to deliver the death blow...
Tony Stark- Hulk, stop! Do you remember me? We are the avengers, we are your friends!
Hulk- Tin man! Banner make Hulk weak! Hulk smash puny Banner! Hulk strong, Banner weak!
Tony Stark- Look Hulk, I know a lot has happened in the past few days. You lost to Thanos, you lost to hulkbuster....
Thor- He also lost to me on Sakaar, and was almost defeated by Hela's wolf.
Hulk- Liar!
Tony Stark- Look green guy, the thing is, you didn't lose because of Banner. You are Banner, and Banner is you.
Hulk- Hulk not Banner! Rawwrrgh!!
Tony Stark- You are a part of him then. You want to know why you lost? It was because you didn't have your team. You abandoned the Avengers, your friends, and took on big, bad foes without any help.
Hulk (grimacing)- Hulk no need help.
Tony Stark- Hulk, I too have been defeated by many. I lost to Thanos, I lost to Captain America and the Winter soldier, lost to 4 mandarin helicopters...
Hulk (smiling)- Tin man is a loser!
Tony Stark- No, Hulk. The thing is that despite giving our best, there will always be someone out there who is bigger, badder and stronger than us. But it is not always about you, or me, or anyone else, for we are not alone. It is about us. It is about standing together as a team and smashing the enemy, not alone, but together. For Hulk is strong, I am strong, but together, we are the strongest.
Hulk- Hulk hate Banner.
Tony Stark- I know, but he is part of the team. Though it may not seem like it, he is the source of your strength, and with Banner's brain and your brawn, the Hulk would be unstoppable.
Hulk- Hulk will smash Thanos... with Banner.
As Hulk says this, he goes closer to Banner, who has removed the Hulkbuster's helmet. Hulk touches his hand on Banner's head (quite gently!) and slowly, Hulk's form goes inside Banner, who turns green for an instant before returning to his normal form.
Tony Stark- Doctor, they are waiting for you at the headquarters. It looks the suit would need some patching up.
Bruce Banner- Stark, I didn't think you were the kind of guy who gave speeches.
Tony Stark- Don't ever mention this again.
Thor- I am going to text this to Cap.
Tony Stark- You recorded it on your phone?
Thor- Phone? What would I need a phone for?
