WAKANDA- SHURI'S LAB

All surviving avengers are assembled here, conversing with each other, building and repairing gadgets, or training with their respective weapons. Wong is nowhere to be seen. Antman (Scott Lang) is also present, with Dr. Hank, his wife Janet, and Wasp (Hope Van Dyne) in a large version of their quantum transporter ship. The entire ship glows with orange quantum energy.

Rhodes- So you are saying, if you leave the ship you'll be turned to dust.

Dr. Hank- Yes, our real forms have already disintegrated, but Scott here brought us back by bringing our anti-quarks out of the quantum realm. If the quarks present here interact with us, we'll be cancelled out of existence and our anti-quarks will return to their hidden pocket in the quantum world.

Janet- I can manipulate the quantum energies around us and delay the reaction, but not for too long. I could barely get Scott out of the ship.

Shuri- Your quark structures can be re-stabilized to match the surrounding environment, but the amount of energy required for it is not within our reach.

Tony Stark- How much power does it need again?

Shuri- That much power can be generated through the detonations of about 15000 nuclear bombs, or through the nuclear fusion of 5 kilograms of hydrogen.

Tony Stark- Sorry, Hank, I guess you better stay in that spaceship for a while.

Hank Pym- Thank you for your help, Mr. Stark.

Meanwhile, Banner is working nearby on the transmitter Tony picked up from New York.

Banner- Uh, Tony, this thing is not transmitting anymore.

Tony Stark- Is the power source connected to our systems?

Banner- Yes, but someone's shut it down from the receiving end. 

Shuri (opening a hologram interface from her arm)- A really high-energy signature trying to enter the barrier. There's nothing to worry about though, the barrier can withstand even a nuclear warhead.

Shuri- Impossible. The barrier's been breached!

Steve Rogers- Everyone, suit up!!

Thor- Don't worry, I got this.

A whirlwind of energy flies through the door, knocking aside Wakandan guards. Okoye and her squad chases it, but Steve Rogers gives them a signal to stop.

Captain Marvel- Where's Fury?

Thor (blocking her path)- Depends on who's asking.

Captain Marvel- You think you can stop me?

Thor- I can.

Captain Marvel- You are unarmed. If you have got a weapon, you better take it up.

Thor extends his hand out to summon his axe, and Captain Marvel (Carol Denvers) smirks. Stormbreaker arrives, and Thor grabs it, but Denvers is unfazed.

Thor- I like this one.

Rhodes (whispering to Tony)- Is she with Thanos or not?

Steve Rogers (to Rhodes)- Only one way to found out.

Steve Rogers- Fury is dead.

Captain Marvel is visibly affected by the news. However, she regains her composure.

Captain Marvel- Has there been a large-scale emergency of any kind?

Tony Stark- If half the universe being dead counts a large-scale emergency, then yes.

Captain Marvel- Half the universe?

Steve Rogers- Yes. Thanos snapped half the universe out of existence.

Captain Marvel- The transmitter was for emergency situations like these. Fury must have called me to help you guys out.

Rhodes- So, you are not with Thanos?

Captain Marvel- No, who is he?

Okoye- All of you, I want you to assemble in the main court in 15 minutes. We need to talk.

Okoye and her squad march out of the lab. Steve Rogers and Rhodes brief Captain Marvel on the situation, while Shuri looks at the hologram, deep in thought.

Shuri- There is potential for...but why would Okoye call us...this means trouble.
