Gender Reveal. (Baby series)

It's been 4 months since me and Laine found out we are pregnant.  We go to the doctor today for an ultrasound. We find out the sex of our baby today, Me and Laine thought we should do a Gender reveal party. So we cant know the gender until the party. I invited my best-friend Taylor. so she can get the results.

 *** Beep Beep Beep****

"Ughhhhh" I rolled over and slammed on the alarm clock, to my dismay it did not work. I rolled out of bed and unplugged the alarm clock and threw it. 

"I bet you'll shut up now." I huffed and laid back down. 

"Damn baby anger issues much" Laine smirked at me. 

"it's not funny Laine. It wouldn't stop." I rolled my eyes at him. 

He gave me a puppy dog look and pulled me into his arms. 

"We get to see our little alien today" He whispered 

I looked up at him and smiled. "We should probably stop calling him or her that" I chuckled. 

Laine shook his head "Never" And kissed me. 

"get up bitches! we find out what our baby is today!!!" Taylor walked into our room yelling. 

"Girl why you always yelling? Plus how you gonna barge in like that? What if we was naked?" 

"1. someone Is being sassy today. 2. Cause bitch that's my baby in there and 3. we have changed together before and 4.  Once you have seen one dude nude you have seen em all!

"1. That's technically my baby in there  and 2. I still don't want you to see me naked." Laine replied to Taylor. 

"Oh I don't remember asking for the 'Step-parent's' Opinion."  Me and Laine rolled our eyes. 

"If anyone is the step-parent it would be you" Laine said. Taylor looked at him with 'I'm about to hurt you in the next 5 seconds look.' 

"Boy you better go get in the shower before I hit you with my shoe." Giving him a glare. 

"Alright geez." He said giving into her threat. " I love you" He said and gave me kiss before going into our bathroom. 

--------- Appointment-----------

"Mr. and Mrs. Hardy" The nurse called 

The three of us walked up to her 

"And you are??" The nurse asked Taylor. 

"I'm the step-parent so I am told" Giving Laine a glare again. 

"Um alright." 

We go into our room and they took all my information. 

"The doctor should be in a few minutes." the nurse said. 

"Okay thank you" Laine told her.  

"Okay I bet $20 our girl is having a girl!" Taylor said to Laine

Laine shook his head. 

"Fine $20 says it's a boy." Laine replied. 

"Deal" She smirked evilly. I shook my head 

"Do yall have to gamble on our child?" 

They looked at each other and back at me. 

"Well yeah." they replied at the same time. 

"Mr. and Mrs. Hardy?" The doctor asked 

"Yeah and Taylor!" Taylor said happily. 

"Alright why don't we take a look yeah?"  We all nodded. 

" We don't want to know the sex, so could you write it down and give it my friend over there?" 

He smiled "Of course." 

He put the gel and waved the wand around. 

We instantly heard a loud and fast heartbeat. 

"There's your healthy baby" The doctor said pointing to the screen. 

"Look at him baby" Laine looked at me amazed. 

"He has your nose babe" I said looking up at him. 

"I can't wait for this" He said. 

"Alright Here's the Gender" The doctor said writing it down and handing it to Taylor. 

"Thank you"  We said. "You're welcome, make sure to schedule your next appointment." He smiled we nodded . 

----- Skip to Gender reveal day-----

"Alright it is now time for mommy and daddy to reveal what we are having!" 

Me and Laine stood up. "Now since daddy loves fishing we have made a game where daddy Is going to fish for the gender." 

Taylor handed us a little plastic pole meant for children. "Now, there are magnetic fish in the bottom of the water. There Is 2 fish out of the 25 that has the gender inside of it. Are you ready?"  She asked 

We nodded. 

Our families took videos and pictures. 

"Go!" Taylor said. 

Me and Laine quickly started fishing. We both caught about 4 fish and nothing. We went through all the fish and there was nothing.  

"What the hell Taylor?" We asked "That wasn't the real game" she laughed. 

"This is." There was a board with 5 balloons with something in them. 

"Laine, one of those balloons holds the answer to our bet, and you are gonna shoot em down." 

Barry gave Laine his first gun. Laine aimed and shot one of em and nothing Laine shot the middle balloon and Blue powder went everywhere. 

"YESSSSSS!!" Laine cheered with everyone and he ran up and spun me around

"We are gonna have a mini - Laine lord help us." Taylor said. 

"Here's your 20 bucks as promised." 

Liane smiled and kissed me. 

"I love you both." he said to me and put his hand on my stomach. 

"Aw I love you too Lainey!" Taylor went to hug him 

"What no! I was talking to my wife and child" he said, she gave him puppy dog eyes. 

He sighed and rolled his eyes. 

"Fineeee come here."       "YESS" She cheered.
