Today is our son's 5th birthday party. I honestly cannot believe its been 5 years.
He looks more and more like me everyday and y/n says she loves it.
My parents have agreed to take y/s/n for a few hours so we can do everything we need to do before his party tonight.
"Okay the first place we need to is go get decorations, then we need to go pick up his cake" Y/n said looking up to me smiling. I love this girl more than anything.
"Okay, do you the theme he wanted?" I asked looking down at her wrapping my arms around her small body.
"Uh I think dinosaurs." She replied leaning into me.
"Okay well lets get to business" I said kissing her head and walking to grab my key, phone and wallet. She followed close behind.

Once we got home we started decorating the house with all the dinosaur decorations. I did all the higher up stuff since y/n couldn't reach.
Once we finished I text my mom telling her they can head over here. I stepped back and looked at the room. I was quite proud of our decorating.

Once everyone got here everyone decided to go outside while y/n and I got the cake and everything ready. I was standing in front of the sink looking out the window watching my son play with all his friends with the biggest smile.

y/n wrapped her arms around me from behind. "Whats wrong laine?"
"He's getting so big, I can't believe he is 5 already! next thing you know he's gonna have kids of his own!"
she chuckled " Yeah he is growing up laine. no matter how big he gets I have no doubt that he will still be a daddy's boy. you mean everything to the kid laine. you shouldn't worry about him getting older." I nodded.
"Now please call everyone so we can do cake and presents please!"
"I love you baby girl" I said kissing her before doing as I was told.
