Night Fishing

- His pov-

Its about 11:30 pm. I decided to go night fishin, so I text the one person who I knew wouldn't turn me down. Y/n.

'Hey baby girl wanna go night fishing with me?'

It didn't take long for a response to come back.

'Hell yeah I wanna come!' I smiled down at my phone.

'Be there in 20 baby.'

I got out two of my fishing poles and my tackle box a lawn chair and a cooler.  I put all the supplies in my truck and left to get my girl.

-- 20 minuets later--
I pulled up in front of her house and walked up and knocked. I heard her run down the stairs.

The door flew open revealing my beautiful girl. She was wearing a hoodie of mine I gave her when we started dating, a pair of shorts and some boots since it will be muddy.

"You look gorgeous as always." I said kissing her cheek.

" thank you" She smiled at me.

"Ready to go? We gotta stop and get live bait and some ice"  She nodded in response.

She hopped in my truck and turned on her favorite station. I smiled  and intertwined our fingers.

- at the pond-

We baited our hooks and waited for a bite. I sat in a lawn chair and y/n was standing watching the water.

"Come here baby" I said extending my arms towards her.  I pulled her into my lap and buried my head into her neck.

She sighed in contentment. She kissed my head.

"I love you" I said quietly so we don't scare away the fish.

"I love you" she replied. I kissed her slowly not wanting it to end.

She look back at the pond and gasped

"Laine I got a bite!!" She got up and rushed to her pole, trying to reel it in.
She struggled.

"Send help!!" She chuckled.
I laughed and got up to help her.

We finally got it reeled in. I was suprised. She caught a good 8 pounder. He was huge.

"Holy shit, Ive never seen such a big fish" she said smiling proudly.

"Me either and I have fished since forever. I'm proud of you baby"

I took the fish off her hook, put more bait on it and put the fish on ice.

I pulled her into my side and kissed her head.

"I'm just getting started babe" she replied. I chuckled and shook my head

I love this girl so much.
