"Someone to scare the monsters, when it's dark in your room
Someone to put their foot down when you want a tattoo"

"Daddy, wake up daddy" I looked over to see my baby girl standing next to my side of the bed with tears in her big beautiful eyes holdin mr. snuggles.

"What is it baby girl? why arent you in bed ma?" I asked rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

"Theres a monter in my room. I think he's under the bed" She said looking at me with hope.

I look over to Y/N to see shes sleeping still. I nodded

"Okay lets go do something about these monsters" I said swooping her up into my arms.

We got to her dark room I set her on the bed and turned the light on. I looked under the bed

of course nothing is there but I scared him away anyway.

"Hey you monster! you need to stay away from Y/D/N! or I will whoop your butt!" her little laugh fills the room

"Thank you daddy!" I smiled and stayed with her until she fell asleep.

-------- her 16th birthday--------

"So what do you want for your birthday my love?" I asked Y/D/N

" I want a tattoo!" I stopped everything I was doing right then and there.

"No absolutely not. you are only 16. you are way too young for that!"

"but dad! Mom said she didn't care!" I looked at Y/N she looked back at me wide eyed and looked out the window.

"What?" I Said still looking at her.

she shrugged "Its not like she's asking us to do drugs."

"Well no but she's too young. no the answer is no." I said putting my foot down.

"Okay" y/n said

"mom!" our daughter said

"I'm sorry y/d/n but if dad says no the answer is no. Maybe next year"

"Thank you!" I replied to my wife.
