You're Child has a nightmare.

- Laines POV-

I was laying in bed half asleep once I heard the small whimpers coming from our daughter's room. We have the baby monitors that have the cameras so I looked to see if there was a threat to my girl. Nothing.

I look over at my wife who was sleeping well for the first time in a while.

" Daddy" I heard her small cries coming from down the hall. I rolled out of bed and made my way to my little girl.

I opened the door slowly so I wouldn't scare her anymore than she already was.

She was sitting up with her legs to her chest and arms wrapped around her like she was protecting herself. She looked up at me with her big brown tear filled eyes. It broke my heart.

" Shhh Its okay now baby girl daddy is right here" I said holding her close to my chest.

" wanna tell me what happen bunny?"  She looked up again unsure if she wanted to or not.

"A bad man came and hurt mommy, you kept yelling him to stop but he didn't. He kept hurting mommy. You couldn't do anything daddy, then he took her. He took her so we would never see her again" she explained more tears falling.

I wiped them away.

-Your POV-

I woke to a cold spot next to me where my husband should be. I heard our daughter's voice talking on the monitor

"A bad man came and hurt mommy, you kept yelling him to stop but he didn't. He kept hurting mommy. You couldn't do anything daddy, then he took her. He took her so we would never see her again" I got up and walked to her room and leaned on the door way.

"Baby girl listen to me okay? I will never let anyone hurt you or mommy ever. If anyone hurts one if my girls daddy will have to hurt them. It was just a dream baby, mommy is okay, you're okay. I promise"

My heart grew more than I thought it could when he kissed her head.

" maybe she should sleep with us tonight laine" I suggested.

He looked up and smiled

" how long was you standing there?" He said picking her up and carrying her to our bed.

" uh about 5 minutes or so" I chuckled.

"I love you y/n I will never let anyone hurt you or her ever." He said kissing me.

"I love you too" I said cuddling into our girl who was in the middle.

" I love you both so much" laine said as we fell asleep together.
