Kindergarten Boyfriend

6th Grade (Halloween)

It went like that for a while. We would switch houses that we stayed at, and we would spend everyday together never really leaving each others side. Enjoy.

"It's almost Halloween!!!" Roman screamed as we walked to the car. 

"Roman, we are in 6th grade. You can be excited but don't scream." I told him. He smiled at me.

"But I'm so excited that I must scream!!" He told me. I laughed at him, he was being so cute.

"Shhh. Just a few more days. You can scream then." He was skipping towards my Dad's car. I continued to laugh at him as I walked the rest of the way to the car. 

"Why are you so happy?" My Dad asked him as we started driving off. 

"It's almost Halloween!" Roman exclaimed. Patton laughed at his excitement. 

"Of course you are excited. What are you two going to be?" Patton asked us. I thought for a minute.

"Im going to be an evil edge lord, but as a cat." I told them, Roman smiled at me.

"Im going to be a prince." Ah, perfect for his nick name.

"So Princey's going to be a prince? Nice." He giggled after I said this. 

"Well, your costume is going to suit you too, you Emo Nightmare." That was an old nick name.

"Hey, be nice Roman." Patton scolded him.

"Don't worry, I don't mind that nick name. If anything it brings me back to Kindergarten." I told them. I smiled remembering the first day, I will never forget that day either.

"Nostalgia, don't you just love it?" My Dad asked me. I looked at him and nodded.

"Yes, I do love it." I responded to him. I actually did. It made me happy, and the only thing, or person, that makes me happy is Roman. So yeah.

"So, this Friday, I guess we should get you costumes ready if its in only two days." My Dad told us. I nodded in agreement, even though I basically already have my outfit, all I need is my makeup.

"That sounds good, but we both basically already have our costumes." Roman told them.

"And how is that?" Patton asked. I was wondering how Roman knew I already had my outfit.

"Because, Virgil already wears black and purple in his daily life, and I gave him that cat hoodie two years ago, for christmas. And I have a Prince costume from last Halloween, but I was sick so I couldn't do anything." He explained, I forgot that he was sick last year. I stayed with him and watched 'Nightmare Before Christmas'. It was fun, and I honestly wouldn't mind doing it again. 

"Oh yeah..." My Dad said as the statement soaked in. He must have forgotten.

"Well, we can see if your costumes still fit." Patton suggested, he must have wanted to see Roman dress up. He did love kids, especially his own. 

"Yeah, I guess we can do that." I muttered out.

Once we got home, for once Roman went to his house and I went to mine, but that was because we were changing into our outfits. I found my appropriate hoodie, and threw it on, then I redid my makeup, all I did was darken the eyeshadow. I had only discovered this eyeshadow in the 2nd grade and ever since then I've worn it. It made me feel more secure, and hidden. 

"Okay, let's go to Roman's house." I told my Dad who was waiting for me in the kitchen.

"Well, don't you just look adorable." he cooed as I walked into the kitchen.
