We followed Markus out as a military jet flew over head. "We need to evacuate everyone inside," I called out. "There's no alarms system," Markus shouted back. "Why the FUCK NOT," I demanded. "It's an old ship! It barely has any power at all," Markus explained. We met up with the woman that left earlier. "They're coming from all sides! Our people are trapped in the hold, they're gonna be slaughtered," she stressed. I looked to Connor who seemed to be beating himself up over this. Markus released a message to where the exits are. Markus asked about an android named Josh and the girl shared that they had been separated. "We have to blow up Jericho. If the ship goes down they'll evacuate and our people will escape," Markus stated. "You'll never make it," the girl replied worried, "The explosives are all the way down in the hold, there are soldiers everywhere!" "She's right. They know who you are. They'll do anything to get you," Connor added. "Especially if it's that prick Perkins from the FBI," I added. "Go help the others. I'll join you later," Markus pressed calmly. "Markus," the girl protested. "I won't be long," Markus insisted cutting her off. She watch him go. "I'm Alessa this is Connor," I introduced. "I'm North," she said glancing back hesitantly before we all took off running.
Connor grabbed me and I grabbed North getting pulling behind a ledge as gunshots sounded ahead. "We can save them," North pressed. "We need to make it out in one piece," Connor argued. "At what cost," North asked. I ran out with North and Connor called after me. I grabbed the officer's gun and pulled him back strangling him with it. Before taking it and covering North who almost got shot. The wound deviants thank us and ran off. "You saved my life," North said a bit surprised. "We're on the same side," I said and spun smacking the officer with the butt of the gun to knock him back out.
Relationship status: North- trusted
"Come on let's go," Connor said and we took off again. We ran into a intersection and North looked shocked as we bumped into another android. "Josh," she asked. "Markus saved me he said to come find you," Josh said. "That's Connor and Alessa," North stated as we started to run again. It wasn't long before Markus caught up. I jumped over the crates and ran up the wall to avoid the hole in the ground. I heard gun shots and stopped seeing North down. "North," I jinxed with Markus. Markus grabbed some sheet metal and ran using it as a shield like that older movie Captain America. They were struggling a bit and Connor ran in before me as the reinforcements came in. I brought Markus and North to Josh and ran to Connor. I ran and jumped off the wall opposite to him and pulled back one of the officers shooting the other as Connor got the first two he had been fighting. The one I was holding brought his gun up to my head and I pulled his arm's down to his own head and moved as he shot himself. "You okay," Connor asked. "I'm fine you," I asked. "I'm good," he replied and we rejoined Markus, North and Josh. I pushed Connor out first and shot down the troops coming as I jumped back and turned midair to face the water.
We submerged and I received the first warning.
Systems cooling rapidly. Risk of freezing and system failure up to 76%.
We need to get out of this water fast. We've got like 15 minutes before freezing max.
That's more than enough time.
North was the only one to respond. We followed Markus. More androids kept entering the water. We made our way to a sewage system. The androids of Jericho all joined us. Some were wounded badly. I stopped looking to Connor's shoulder. "You were hurt," I pointed out worried. "I'm fine," he insisted. I bit my tongue. We started walking back and made it to an abandoned church. "I need to go do something," Markus said and we all nodded. He shared a moment with North. Connor looked to be upset with himself. I'm the one who should have known better. "So you're a deviant now," I said teasingly. "And I take it you've been one," he asked. "Technically I've never deviated since the Australian programming already utilizes Kamski's method of full autonomy," I replied. "Did Cyberlife reset your memory often," Connor asked. "I'd assume so. I have no recollection of my past missions before the day I had with Detective Raef," I explained. "You have no memory of 6 months worth of missions," he asked. "None," I replied. We both fell silent for the next few minutes.
