POV Change Connor's POV
"Alessa. ALESSA! Please. Alessa Please," I shouted. She can't be dead she can't be gone. I pulled her closer to me as the door opened. "No," Hank muttered. "What the fuck happened," Raef demanded. "I killed her," I muttered realizing fully the mistakes I made. I couldn't get to the back door fast enough. I didn't neutralize Amanda and now she's dead because of me. I heard a gun cock and the barrel made contact with the back of my head. "Do it," I said staring at her face. The most human woman I've ever met was an android. I killed her. "You shoot him and I shoot you," I heard Hank warn and another gun equipped. "Hank no! I deserve it," I spat looking to the both of them. John caught sight of her face and put his gun away ripping me up. "Get Kamski," John ordered, "GO!" Hank pulled me out and I wiped my face trying to get a hold of myself.

"There's still a chance to save her," Hank offered. "Hank I killed her," I replied. "Amanda got back in didn't she," he asked. I nodded. I don't know what to do. I was brought to a holding cell and sat in the corner as Hank left again. What if they can't bring her back? I can't do this without her. I should be dead right now not her. It should be me. Footsteps drew near and I looked up to see Markus. "What happened," he asked. I just stared dead ahead. "Connor please. What just happened," he asked. I was only able to shake my head. Moving felt like trying to break through a thick tar keeping me in place. I could only stare dead ahead. Why am I feeling like this? I could just rip out my own thirum regulator after Markus leaves. No one would know. I'd just be dead.
The cell door opened and I looked up to see Hank. "Come on kid," he said. I stayed put just wanting to stay away from everyone. What if I hurt them too? Hank grabbed my arm and roughly pulled me up. "I'm not losing your plastic ass too fuck face," he grumbled and walked me through the precinct. I was sat down and Kamski stood leaning against a table. She was like his daughter. "If she did what I think she did...," Kamski started. "Is there a way to bring her back," I interrupted. Kamski shook his head. My stomach dropped. "B-but her thirium regulator was pulled out. She's come back from worse. There has to be-," Kamski cut me off, "Her internal systems are fried. I'd have to start all over again she'd be reset and wouldn't be Alessa. She'd just have her face. Even then Connor to fix the damage... it would be decades of rewiring." She's really dead. "I need to see what she did," Kamski said. "What," I asked. "She deskinned and accessed your programming. I think that's how Amanda got in and fried her circuits," Elijah explained. "If we knew exactly what Amanda did... could we reverse it," I asked. "Maybe," Elijah replied. I need to find the people behind CyberLife. They need to fix her and they need to pay.
Kamski finished going through my systems. "Amanda and CyberLife in general have no more access to your programming," Elijah explained. "What the fuck," Hank asked. "Alessa reprogramed you to kick them out for good Connor," Elijah said, "I think they knew she would and that's how why they sacrificed control of you to terminate her." "I shouldn't have- I should have just-," I couldn't finish my sentences. "You can't change the past kid," Hank said. I felt my face and chest heat up. They're going to pay. I got up and started out. "Where are you going," Hank asked. "To finish this case Lieutenant, and make CyberLife pay," I replied. Gavin is connected. It's in the files.
I grabbed Reed from his desk and dragged him into the interrogation room. I locked him down and he looked at me terrified. "Where's Alessa," he asked. I walked to the one way mirror after locking the both of us in the room. He was tense. I turned to face him and slammed my hands down on the table. "You're going to tell me everything you fucking know," I growled. "I-I'm not telling you anything," he stammered. I grabbed the back of his head and slammed his face into the table. "TELL ME EVERYTHING," I snapped. His nose was bleeding and he started to spill everything. "I only met them once. On the top floor. It was a board of four people. I-I needed the extra cash and it was just supposed to be security detail, but they started asking questions and they payed a lot to keep quiet. One handled PR, one handled programming the AI, one handled designing the androids and the other was the leader of all of them and handled everything else," Reed replied. "I need names! Give me names," I ordered. "Micheal Dawkins. That's the only name I know," Gavin replied terrified. I walked out. "What the hell was that," Markus asked. "I'm doing what I have to do," I spat. "We have to be better than humans. Resulting to violence like this won't solve anything," Markus argued. "You sure about that. We just made a break through," I replied. "Alessa wouldn't want this," Markus replied. "Alessa is dead," I replied as North neared. "You'd do the same if it was North," I pointed out and left to the records room.
