He started to undo the suit a bit for more mobility. I wasn't complaining. The rugged look suited him. We sat in the taxi in silence. "I still haven't gotten word back from Hank," Connor stressed. "I'm sure they're okay," I reassured. "I hope so," he worried. I took his hands in mine. "Everything is going to be fine," I soothed. "It's just... Hank and you are all I have," he started. "Hey, I'm okay. Hank is okay.  You're going to blow a fuse if you keep stressing out this," I said a bit concerned. "You're one to talk," he teased. "Don't make me shoot you," I joked. "You could never shoot me," he said. "Says who," I asked. "Says your hesitation at shooting the series that impersonates me," he said. I was speechless. "Your deductive reasoning is truly unparalleled," I replied. "Except by you," he replied. "Oh please. You're the brains I'm the muscle," I replied. "Why can't we both be both," he asked. "Because I'm a way better fighter than you are," I replied suppressing a smile. "No I think we're evenly matched," he replied. I laughed, "Aww that's cute." He was trying not to smile and pretended to be offended. I couldn't help but laugh.

I shifted and remembered the controller was in my hand. "He's going to need a replacement," I noted. "John will be okay," Connor reassured. "Ash tried to warn me to keep him alive andI failed the first time. I can't fail her again," I thought out loud. "And you won't," he said smoothing his thumb over the back of my hand. The taxi stopped and we got out. We walked back in and Hank was yelling at Fowler. I walked in and Raef was by the entrance. "The hell happened," I asked him. "Fowler is holding back on security details," John explained. "Hank is trying to switch his detail onto someone else and fowler won't budge," Maria shared. "John," I said just remembering. "Amanda had this," I said showing him the remote, "Your replacement heart has a fail safe that Cyberlife can use to make it collapse at any second. You need to get it replaced I can talk with Kamski or we can figure something else out. She tried to use this to get me to go back and let them reset me. I managed to take it from her." "Thanks Ally," he said as I handed it over. "You need to get the heart change soon," I pressed. He nodded. Connor had started into Fowlers when I started talking to John. Hank had been calmed down and Connor practically dragged him out.

I kept looking over to see Hank and Connor arguing the same point. "Do they always talk in circles," John asked. "You should have seen them before she got here," Maria pointed out. I walked over and Hank was still going off. "Enough," I snapped and the whole precinct went quiet. I waved for the rest to carry on like normal. "Let me speak with Jeffry and we'll call the ADA. Start pooling the evidence we want to show her," I reasoned. Hank huffed and nodded. I looked to Connor, "I'll be right back." He nodded. I changed into my regular black jeans and my white button down. I wiped off the makeup and pulled my hair back into a low ponytail. I walked back out feeling more like myself and walked into Fowlers "I already told Hank I can't pull any more security details," Fowler started. "Ok, but if I told you we had more evidence and case against Cyberlife," I countered. "I'd say you work fucking miracles kid," he replied. I walked around his desk and shared the memory files of Amanda and the RK 900 speaking. I also shared the files of the androids attacking and what Katherine shared. "Fucking christ kid. It pays to have cameras for eyes," Fowler said. 

"I have Connor and Hank pulling up the rest of the most pressing evidence. We're going to tie off Marcella and the Simon's case. All I need are two personnel on Woods. Or even a third party body guard," I pleaded. "I can pay for the expenses," Kamski said from the doorway. "What do you want Elijah," Fowler asked. "I want my company back. I want to stop them from ruining the name of Cyberlife any further and I'll help in anyway I can to get there," Elijah stated. "Alright fine," Fowler caved, "But you have 48 hours to tie off the other two cases and file a case against Cyberlife." "You got it," I replied, "But I need Maria on with us I'm sending her and Hank into the field same time as Connor and myself so we can bang it out. Kamski I need you to look into John's situation," I said. "What situation," Fowler asked. "Cyberlife has a fail safe in his heart replacement at any moment his heart could collapse and he will die," I explained.
