I sat in the abandoned building and pulled up all the files I had in my memory. Micheal Dawkins could be a board member but he could also be a ruse. If I could sneak into CyberLife again and somehow get more evidence without being caught. I'd have to get to the surveillance room first and then work my way out from there. Maybe steal a uniform and change my hair and eye color. I saw Alessa in a memory and just looked at the photo. She deserved so much better. She just wanted the best for everyone.

Focus Connor. You need to be able to accomplish at least one mission on your own. I stood and made my way deeper into the abandoned building. There was a projection table. I managed to get it started again and displayed the CyberLife blue prints. Surveillance is level 37. There's an entrance on ground floor and on sub 13. I'd be spotted from both before ever getting near the surveillance room. There's ducts from sub 5 all the way up but they may be too steep to climb and I'd certainly fall through the metal. If I just stormed guns blazing they'll know I'm there and will have time to scrap everything. So how do I get up? Weather. I looked through the forecast. A giant snowstorm is coming in tomorrow. If I can blackout the area it'll be chalked up to the storm and I'll have just enough time to slip inside. I pulled up an image of her and leaned against the table. "I'll fix this," I promised.
I was plotting the last step to my plan and running the final simulations when there was a noise. I shut down the displayed images and powered the table down before hiding. Someone charged in and I swung the door closed grabbing them from behind and locking my arm around their neck. An elbow flew into my gut as I saw a ring light up red. Android. I spun the android and slammed them into the wall before pulling them back and kicking them through the door and barricading it with the table. Window fire escape. I crashed through the glass and scaled the steps two at a time. I took off running and there were two paths. Safe but slow or quick and risky? Take the risk. I took off and leaped from the roof of the building onto another. I heard foot steps reach the previous roof. The train was coming. I did this before I can do it again. I took off and grabbed a clothes line swinging onto the top of the train as came this way. I rode it seeing the android stand at the ledge of the building. I jumped off and made my way to tunnels beneath the city.
The hydro-plant connects to most of Detroit including CyberLife. I made my way and kept the weather diagnostics running. I looked at the plant. It's self sufficient. Maintenance comes once a week so I need to be out by 8 pm tomorrow. I found the circulation vents and broke them letting the outside air in. Let the cold accelerate. I walked to the wheels and adjusted it to be just askew enough to get caught if something like the water freezing over were to happen. It'll look like wear ant tear and a freak accident. I hid and waited. Playing memories of Alessa until the time came.
There was a footstep nearby. I froze and scanned the environment. I'm not alone. Human. I hide behind the door hoping they'd go and I wouldn't have to move but they came into the hallway. "Connor," I heard John call. I remained silent. "Connor, it's me John. Please, I just want to talk. I really hope you're here and I'm not just talking to no one... again. Look I'm not here to take you back. I came to help. Hank and the others don't know I'm here," John explained. I closed the door behind him asking, "How do I know you're not lying?" "Jesus fuck," he muttered startled, "You may not know me-." I cut him off, "I know you more than you might think. I temporarily stored a chunk of her memories so her neural network didn't collapse," I replied. "What did you see," John asked. "I saw her trust you and how you helped her and Ashlynn. But I also saw how you completely crushed her. You saved her, but you left her a wreck. She lost both of you. And then they used your face to try and kill her and she watched you die all over again. She finally build a wall and they sick the actual you on Hank. She nearly killed you. John she thought you were just another android sent to rub your death in her face again. Just when it couldn't get worse you fucked her up more in the interrogation room," I noted.
