We returned to our dorm altogether and walked in the front door. Yuki said goodnight and made her way to her room.

"I want to thank you (y/n). It was nice to have dinner with my brother again."

"Oh there's no need to thank me."

"If you hadn't made me stay we wouldn't all be standing here. I hope my brother treats you well and realised how lucky he really is." I blinked in surprise. "Well goodnight." He said disappearing down the hall.

"Awh that was sweet." I said to Zero.

"You're not falling for the other me now are you?"

"Don't be silly but wasn't that nice? Did you enjoy your food?" I asked eagerly.

"Yeah." He replied. "It was nostalgic."

"It was?" My eyes lit up. "And here I thought your favourite thing was ramen."

"Well you were way off."

"Shut up."

"Well we should get to bed." He said.

"Oh, together or..."

"It's up to you."

I twiddled my thumbs. "Well..." I started. "You're room is kinda dull and mines isolated and there's only one other person on the floor with me and she's at the other end of the hall." I mumbled.

"Okay." He said simply before heading off in the direction of my room. I walked beside him taking extra steps to try and keep up with his long strides. I opened the door and walked in.

My eyes landed on the pile of clothes at the end of my bed that was my pyjamas. I face palmed myself internally. Unlike in Zero's room, I didn't have another section with a wall dividing it from the rest of the room.

"You'll have to wait outside." I smiled awkwardly.

"Huh?"

"I need to change." I closed the door quietly before quickly redressing into a shirt and shorts. I then let Zero in and locked the door.

"Why'd you lock it?"

"It's a habit I've gotten into."

I climbed into one side of the bed and laid down while Zero took off his blazer and unbuttoned his shirt. He took his belt of and crawled in next to me. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and pulled me into his chest as he laid on his back. I laid my head on his chest and snuggled into his body. I closed my eyes and for once, it wasn't too long before I fell asleep.

Yuki was escorted by a number of night class students again the following morning. Zero and I followed behind them and this time there was an aisle formed for us to pass with girls and boys lining the sides, watching.

A tick mark grew on my forehead part way through the awkward walk. "Don't you all have classes to get to?! Why don't you all quit gawking and go about your own business!" I snapped at them. They all scattered and ran away.

"You really are scary." Zero said.

"Oh be quiet." I grumbled. As we walked by I could sense something off about the area. Some dark force of sorts. My eyes darted around in search of the source and landed on two figures. One was Ichiru while the other was Senri. However something wasn't quite right about the vampire. Whatever was going on with him was very wrong.

We proceeded to class and sat in our usual seats. A number of girls surrounded Yuki asking about her and Kaname's relationship. Class started after some time and we were given a group assignment at the end.
