Chapter 28

HANABUSA'S POV

I watched as Kiryu number two entered the infirmary. Something seemed off so I decided it was probably best to monitor him just to make sure. Lord Kaname would have my head if he did anything to her and I didn't even want to think about what (y/n) would do to me.

I opened the door to find him standing next to Yuki with a vial filled with a crimson liquid, obviously blood. "What are you doing?" I questioned angrily. Yuki began to stir and woke up. "I will take whatever it is you have in your hand." I said holding my hand out expectantly.

"Ichiru? Why are you-"

"You are so coddled. You have no idea what's going on." I said to the girl. "I will make sure to report this to Lord Kaname." I informed the silver haired male.

"Do as you wish." He spoke nonchalantly then wandering back to where he came from. I huffed and stepped outside. I passed on my duty to Akatsuki and headed for the dorms to speak to Lord Kaname. Upon my arrival his room was an utter mess.

"So Ichiru Kiryu had this on him?" He asked after I reported the event to him.

"Yes." I confirmed.

"You did well to stop him."

"I'm honoured to be of assistance. Um, who's blood is that?" I asked curiously. "Forgive me it's really none of my business." I said after a short pause.

"No no, it's fine, just don't mention this to anyone. In regards to Ichiru I have no intention of punishing him. He has his own role to play in this."

"Yes but what if he tries to do something to Yuk- I mean lady Yuki?"

"That's why I have asked if you to guard her well." He reminded me.

"If that is what Lord Kaname wishes. And about Ruka..."

"I see. She still hasn't left her room." Kaname speculated.

"Yes. She hasn't left since she heard that lady Yuki is your lover."

"Don't worry about it. Just let her be alone for now alright?"

"Very well." I looked around unknowingly. "If I may ask, what exactly happened in here?"

"This mess would be the doing of none other than (y/n) (l/n)."

"(Y/n)?"

"Indeed. She is awakening." I nodded and began to walk away. "Hanabusa, in regards to Yuki, I really am grateful."

"Any time." I smiled.

I wandered out of the dorms and back to my post, in the meantime pondering over reasons why (y/n) would destroy Lord Kaname's room like that.

ZERO'S POV

After Yuki fainted, (y/n) didn't return to class at any stage. Not even to retrieve her belongings. Our last class had just ended and she still hadn't showed up. I gathered up my own things along with hers and made my way to the infirmary.
