malia's pov

my foot stepped in the airport of california after i got out of the tunnel.

following the crowd, going down the same escalators and walking past different gates, i pull out my phone to check the time.

1:48p.m

a small curve on my lip started to show at the thought of being back here again.

i took a few turns around the corners and there was the exit doors.

i pulled my backpack up to my shoulder and started to quickly walk to the exit with my big suitcase by my side.

i'm so excited.

i finally get to see my bestfriend again.

the closer i was getting to the sliding doors, the louder the noises of cars honking gets; busy airport.

the doors slid open for me then i took a deep breath of fresh air.

through the busy crowd, i looked around for her; expecting her to be close since this was the place i told her to meet me.

i spotted her.
a beautiful human being that means the world to me.

she was turning everywhere, clearly excited and desperate to find me.

when she turned to face me, her facial expressions lit up; completely making my day.

she started to sprint towards me with excitement as i let my suitcase stay where it was so i could run up to her as well.

"no fucking way!" she screamed as she completely tackled me on the ground.

i fell on my back where my backpack full of clothes caught me and daniela.

"oh my god!" i laughed happily while she put her whole weight on top of me.

"i can't believe this is real right now," she mumbled into my shoulder.

"it is. it really is," i continue to laugh while we stayed on the ground, catching a few people's attentions.

she got up and put her hand out for me to reach.
i grabbed it and she pulled me up to hug me again.

"i've dreamt of this day for a year now," i could hear the happiness in her voice.

"so have i," i nodded my head as i wanted to cry happy tears.

i pulled myself back a little back to see her eyes getting watery.

"don't you dare let a slip of tear fall from your face," i demanded so i wouldn't cry.

"i'm sorry. you've gotten so pretty," she giggled while blinking really fast; making the tears go away.

"so have you. i didn't even know you could get any prettier from last year," i sigh in amazement from seeing her beauty.

"i have so much things to tell you," she practically squealed from excitement.

"i can't fucking wait," i smiled uncontrollably.

she grabbed my suitcase and insisted to put it in the back of her car while i put my backpack in the back seat and sat in the passenger's.

she sat down in the driver's seat and i don't think i've ever seen her so happy.
