malia's pov

my eyes were barely open.
i have no energy.

i wasted all of that on crying.

all of a sudden, i realized that i was in front of a tall building in an alleyway.

this place looks abandoned.

knowing what i want to do, i walked into the building from the back and up the stairs, leading to the roof.

i opened the metal door, hearing a few creaking sounds while opening.

i leaned against one of the brick walls, letting myself sink in sorrow for a moment while drinking the rest of my drink.

what do i have to lose.

i'm such a horrible person.

after a long amount of time, my feet took small steps to the corner of the building.

i stared into the sky for a long time.

"mom... i'm coming," i whispered while shutting my eyes.

i'm ready to leave.
i'm ready to finally hangout with my mom...

ethan's pov

i ran.

i ran faster than ever.

the sound of the door slammed against the brick walled, making it echo through the staircase walls.

grayson got up there.

"come on daniela," i turned around to see her panting while running behind me.

she nodded her head and continued to run up the stairs.

"malia!" i could hear grayson's voice call her name.

i reaches the top of the stair case, i stood next to grayson; looking at malia at the edge of the building.

"damn. they only care when you're about to take your life," malia said bluntly while turning around slowly; annoyed.

she stood at the tip of the building, ready to fall back when she needed.

"malia. don't do this," i said desperately while trying to catch my breath.

she didn't say anything, it's like she's gone.

"no stop malia! please!" daniela screamed loudly while her voice cracks, she's gonna cry.

"now you finally fucking care, don't you?" malia let out an annoyed scoff.

"no. this is completely wrong. don't do this," daniela said, attempting to stall malia while grayson take small cautious steps closer to her.

malia threw the empty bottle on the floor, smashing it into glasses on the hard, cold concrete.

we all flinched at her sudden action.
