malia's pov

the view of the sunset received my full attention as i stared off into the beautiful sky.

mixed with pink and orange clouds; slight yellow in some areas.

"ready to race?" ethan snapped me out my zone while passing a helmet to daniela.

"yeah. this is going to be fun," grayson chuckled while he puts on his helmet.

me and daniela looked at each other and smiled while putting on our helmets.

ethan and grayson hopped on separate motorcycles that they borrowed for the night from a friend.

"are you excited?" grayson's voice was the only thing i could focus on; blocking out daniela and ethan's conversation.

i nodded my head, "very. i've never rode on a motorcycle." i admitted.

"trust me. it's very fun and it will be if i'm going to be the driver," he smiled showing his bright teeth while tilting his head to the side; signaling me to get on.

i smiled as i lifted my leg over the other side of the bike; sitting down.

my arms wrapped around his torso, feeling his toned stomach through his shirt.

after the sound of ethan's motorcycle engines turning on, grayson's went off.

i looked over to see daniela placing her head down on ethan's back— relaxing.

"ready gray?" ethan asked grayson while they stared straight into the road.

"born ready e," grayson replied.

"you ready girls?" ethan asked both me and dani.

i nodded my head and so did she. "ready," we said at the same time.

"alrighty. hold on tight. it's going to be a fun, beautiful ride," grayson instructed.

"three two one!" ethan counted down loudly over the engines and we took off.

i screeched quietly while grabbing onto grayson's torso tightly.

"be careful m. just trust me and hold on," grayson said causing me to be more relaxed.

something about his voice is so soothing; music to my ears when he talks.

i looked to our right to see ethan and dani right besides us.

daniela flipped me off jokingly, "i hope you lose!"

returning the favor, i flipped her off and started to chuckle.

the wind blew through my hair as i looked to our left, the sunset.

this is nice.

this is peaceful.

this is all i needed.

this is all i ever wanted.
