I was stunned of what I was hearing. My father is going to be realsed? I thought he was in prison for life? I couldn't comprehend of the reason of what everyone is so afraid of. Is he dangerous? Did he ever put my Mother into serious harm? So many questions are floating around and no one is giving me the answers. I heard Lucas calm my Mother down. I'm hoping he can convince her to tell me what she knows.
I transferred my gaze to Justin. Was he here all along? He could've at least told me what was happening. I became furious. More at Justin than my Mother at the moment. I thought he was the only person in this situation to be honest with me; only to come to find out that's nothing but a dream. Feeling slightly suffocated, I quickly ran out the front door to get some fresh air. I heard footsteps trailing behind me. I had a feeling that it was Justin trying to calm me down once again, but I wasn't feeling his charming soothing words this time.
"WHAT," I turned around and questioned with rage.
Only to realize that it wasn't Justin. It made me slightly embarrassed, so I quickly apologized.
"I'm sorry. I thought you were Justin."
"No it's okay. I understand I would be angry too if I was you," replied Lucas.
"I'm just tired of the lies. Mom's lying to me. Justin's lying to me. I'm not sure if you are, but it wouldn't matter cause I probably won't be hurt by it, but a lie is a lie. I thought Justin, my Mom, and I had a stronger bond where we can tell each other everything. I'm starting to realize that we don't and it hurts. It hurts so bad."
I couldn't help it, but the tears started to fall down. Mixed emotions were running around inside me. A lot coming from how my Mother have been treating and withholding information from me. Keeping me in the dark. I also couldn't believe I was crying in front of Lucas. He would be the last person I would ever cry in front of. I kept my head down so he wouldn't see how much of an ugly crier I am.
I felt strong arms pulling me into an warm embrace. An embrace that I know so well. I raised my head, hoping there was no snot running down my nose, and stared into my baby's beautiful hazel eyes that I just can't get enough of. Just being in his arms took all the pain and anger away. He means the world to me and I couldn't stay mad at him for long. It would break my heart knowing if I was for a long period of time.
He cupped my right cheek, wiped away my tears, gave me a forehead kiss, and tied it in with the words that made me fall in love with him all over again.
"I love you baby."
"I love you too Justin," I said as I snuggled myself closer into his warm embrace.
"I'm sorry if I hurt you. I'm just doing what I know best and that's protecting you babe. I know I should've talked to you first, but it was all an act of the moment and I wasn't thinking sweetheart. Please forgive me," he pleaded.
I raised my head once more and our eyes connected again. He had my heart and he knew it. The only person that could ruin that for me would be Justin. I couldn't resist him so I stood on my tippy toes. Our lips were at an even angle and I kissed him like it was my last dying breath. Hoping that he got the message that I forgive him.
Our kiss was broken up with the sound of a car door slamming shut near us in the driveway. I had a feeling that we weren't expecting anybody to come since apparently we're moving. I haven't seen this car before and I wasn't sure who it belonged to. A man with milk chocolate skin, muscles built for a wrestler, and a silky bald head came into view. He carried two bags with him. He wore a cut on his check that seemed fresh from a sharp blade. I didn't notice it before, but Justin was holding me tight and I wasn't sure as in to why. Who is this man?
I heard Lucas call out for my Mother in a voice of desperation. What is going on? Lucas and my Mother stood inches in front of Justin and I. The man stopped a couple feet away from my Mom and Lucas. He glanced at every single person that was present. When his eyes connected with mine, chills ran down my spine. His gaze was intense to the point where I had to look away.
Seconds later, the ignition of the car turned off and out came a woman with long legs and a skin color of caramel. Her body was fit like an anorexic model. She had curly brown hair and glowing brown eyes. She's beautiful but who is this woman? She placed herself right next to the man that she came with. I heard a gasp intake coming from Lucas who looked and seemed awfully surprised. Seems like he knows her.
Seconds of silence passed and no one has made any sort of movement nor has words have yet to be said. Surprisingly, the man started to walk in the direction of where Justin and I were in. I felt Justin hold me tighter. It was starting to becoming suffocating, but I felt he needed to feel like he had me tight and secure. I decided not to ruin his manly moment and speak up.
The man stopped right in front of Justin and I. He was close enough where I was able to closely distinguish his features. His almond shaped eyes, brown yellow colored eyes, and arched nose gave him a mean look written on his face. Finally, he spoke and said words that I didn't think he would say that took my breath away.
"My, my, my. Look at you. Grown up and all... Now is this anyway to greet your Daddy, baby girl? Show me some love."
