The sound of my Mother yelling didn't bring me out of the trance Justin's bright hazel eyes put me in. Justin had a way of sucking me in and love him all over again just by one look. Love? Woah, where did that come from? I couldn't let him get away with this so easily. Even though in my heart I already forgave him. I couldn't let him see that he has this effect on me. I broke the gaze and my eyes searched for my Mom. Only to find her in a warm embrace with my stalker.

"Lucas! It's soo good to see you," she said as she kissed both of his cheeks.

She stepped away from him and it gave me the opportunity to really see this man. Seeing someone when the sun is out enhances their features. He had nice perfect almond skin. No signs of blemish ever occurred. His eyes shined bright with the color that I am familiar with; hazel. Is Justin and Lucas related? He had wrinkles under his eyes and around the rim of his mouth, it indicated the age group that he is in. If I had to guess he is around my mother's age. Maybe older, but how does my mom know him?

"Delilah come quick! Say hi," my mother commanded sweetly.

I walked over to my mother and Lucas hesitantly. I don't know this man, for all I know he could be harmful. He could be dangerous; but does that mean Justin is dangerous? Is Justin able to produce harm? I turned my head swiftly to look at Justin once more, confusion written all over my face. Guilt was on his. I was hurt. What is Justin keeping from me? I had a feeling he saw the pain behind my eyes and hanged his head low tossing away the connection. I walked over to my Mom and Lucas, keeping a far distance from him.

"Hello," I said with a shake in my voice. I stretched out my hand, hoping this was enough for my Mother. I didn't want his arms to be wrapped around me.

"How do you do kind lady? She looks exactly like you Eve," he replied to my mother. He grabbed my hand and a handshake was form. His hand was icy cold, I flinched when the contact was first made but eventually got over it.

I heard my Mother tell Lucas to come inside so they can catch up. I followed suit, but only to be stopped with an arm tug by Justin. I saw Lucas turn his head around, only to reiceve a murderous look. Not aimed at me, but at Justin. I quickly turned around and found Justin's eyes look for forgiveness. Now isn't the time to talk about last night. I need know who that man is. Without saying a word, I walked away from Justin and entered the house. I was bombarded by the sound of my Mother's laugh. I knew where the were located because my Mother took all her guest in one location. I stood in the living room door and found them snuggled up on the coach with a bottle of wine, wine glasses, and cheese on the counter. I was willing to stand there and watch them the whole time. I had to make sure my Mother is safe, until the sweet sound of Justin's voice told me other wise.

"Can we go to your room?"

I figured if we had our chat then I would quickly reach back and patrol whatever was going on between my Mom and Lucas. Without a glance, I walked to my room with Justin on my tail. Thank God I cleaned up this morning. I opened the door to my room and relief was washed over me when I saw everything was exactly right where I left it. Except, my window is open. That's impossible. I locked my window shut last night before I went to sleep and my Mom never messes with my window. So how is it open right now? Justin must have sensed me worrying and asked, "What's wrong?"

I didn't want to come clean and tell him the truth about Lucas. I wanted to keep that to myself.

"Nothing. It's just a little cold in here," I answered.

Justin closed my door and marched over to my window to close it.

"Is that better," he questioned.

"Yeah," I replied as I sat on my computer chair. Things were starting to become awkward between us and I didn't feel like becoming the one to fix it. I need proof from him that he wants me just as much as I want him.

Justin sat at the edge of my bed right in front of my computer chair. He rolled me over so I can be close to him. That gesture made my heart pounce. I needed to calm down before I hyperventilate right in front of him.

"Delilah, I know you're mad at me right now and trust me I'm mad at myself too. I ruined your birthday. I'm sorry baby. I should've never answered the phone. I should've just told Ashley no. You're more important to me. I feel like I can tell you anything and that's hard for me to do sometimes. It's hard for me to open up to anyone. Yeah there are times when I do open up to Ashley, but it's only when she asks. When I'm with you, I just want to tell you what I'm dealing with. I want to tell you my deepest darkest secrets," he rushed out saying. He took pause and a deep breath, letting me know that he wasn't done.

"I know you are gonna fight me on this. I know you're gonna think that this is not right, but sweetheart I want to leave Ashley for you. I want this spark that we have to become an on going fire between us. I want that with you and I don't think I can't have it with anyone else, but you."

I was speechless. I didn't know what to say. I know that in this moment, it all feels magical. Like I was waiting this whole time for someone to truly call mine and it was Justin. He is it for me. It may sound crazy, but no other word that I can think that describes how I feel about him except for love. I love him and it's real. Everything in me tells me that this is real. Through my watery gaze, I saw Justin's head lean closer to mine. His left hand cupped my right cheek. My thumb glided right along his jaw line sending chills down my spine. The tears started to fall once we were centimeters apart and in a heart beat his lips connected with mine. They were soft. Softer than a baby's butt. Seconds past and his tongue licked my bottom lip for entrance that I gladly accepted. Our lips. Our tongues intertwined. Butterflies were constantly flying around my stomach. Fireworks were playing in my mind. My heart filled with so much love and appreciation for this man. For him. For Justin. Justin's lips pulled away from mine, but his nose and forehead was leaning against mine. We were out of breath. The tears stopped flowing, but something told me they would start to run again after what Justin said to me. He pushed his back and looked into my eyes and whispered,

"I love you."
