~Desiree's POV~

"Are you excited?" 

I turned my head to Jonah, nodding frantically.

it was our 4th anniversary this weekend and Jonah was taking me to Cancún .

I couldn't be more excited, I've always wanted to go there.

"Seriously, thank you Jonah" I sat on his lap, straddling him.

"You're welcome baby girl" He kissed my nose 

we heard our flight get called over the loudspeaker and I practically dragged him along with how fast I was going.

"How amazing do you think it will be?" I asked after we sat down and got all situated

"Pretty amazing" He fiddled with his fingers 

I tilted my head at him, it's a nervous habit he has and I don't know looked out the window but a what he would have to be nervous about.

"Are you scared of the plane Jo?"I asked

"What? Oh no. I just uh feel like I forgot something" he plastered a smile on his face

I nodded my head and looked out the window as the flight attendant talked.

after we started flying at a steady pace I laid my head on Jonah's shoulder, drifting off to sleep.

I woke up to Jonah moving out of his seat.

"I'm just gonna go to the bathroom" He said barely above a whisper and I nodded my head.

I looked out the window but all I could see was clouds.

"Uh can I get everyone's attention" I turned my head at the sound of my boyfriend's voice over the loudspeaker.

everyone was looking at him

"Desiree, I honestly love you so much. Now that I have you with me, I don't know how I ever lived without you. I can't sleep without you, I feel like I can't breathe without you and I never want to. You're all I want, i've always known that. I never want to go a day without you, so I ask you, right now,  35,000 feet in the air, will you marry me?" 

i jumped out of my seat, and ran in his arms.

"Of course" I grabbed his face and kissed him.

cheers could be heard all around. 

I pulled away and whispered

"I'm even more excited now"
