Akako's POV
Natsume takes off running.
"Natsume!"
"Natsume?!"Me and Ruka shout after him, but he keeps running. Me and Ruka glance at each other in worry before taking off after him.
Natsume, What could you possibly be doing?! What's going on?
We follow him outside and see him staring up at Hotaru in shock.
"Hotaru?" Me and Mikan are surprised at seeing her on her flying device.
"I wanted to see the person who stole Iinchou's Alice." Her expression giving nothing away.
"Sakura's? Do you want to join?"
Mikan somehow flies up to Hotaru in glee, I roll my eyes and use the wind to carry me up to them. Hotaru pushes a button which adds another seat, allowing me to ride with them.
"Hotaru, you say that you want to see who they are, but a rule was just ordered to not leave." Yuu stutters, trying to make us come back.
I look down at Yuu and Natsume, Natsume is staring back up at me.
"I hate everything about you..."
Me, Mikan, and Hotaru look at each other before looking back at those on the ground. We make faces at them, making them stare at us in shock.
Hotaru flies away, and Mikan starts to cheer, "Yay! This feels great!"
"If you do something as careless as letting go, I won't bother about you if you fall down!" Hotaru warns, making Mikan squeak and grip onto Hotaru.
"Listen, Hotaru... I know I already tagged along, but I wanted to ask... is it really okay for us to disobey the rules of the teachers?" Mikan looks worried.
"I'm worried too, Mikan-nee. But we need to know who this person is. At least I need to." I look down.
I'm distracted by the vans, and don't notice what Mikan and Hotaru are talking about. We land on the ground and I smile at Hotaru and Mikan, Hotaru explaining her thankfulness for Iinchou.
All of a sudden there's an explosion near us, Hotaru grabs my arm and I use a wind to blow the rocks away from hitting us. Mikan didn't seem to notice, so I grabbed her and pulled her next to me and out of the way of the flying objects.
"What was that?!" Mikan shouts.
"Hotaru, what's happening?" Me and Mikan-nee look at her as she listens with her eavesdropping device.
"Two invaders have already escaped." She replies. "We must abort our plans. We need to leave this instant." Hotaru turns towards us.
"We need to get out of here. Find someone and have them take you to the middle school division, that's the safest thing to do." I look at Mikan and we both nod.
I stand up and start to lead Mikan through some bushes. I step over a twig and look back to make sure Mikan doesn't trip, but when I turn around Hotaru isn't behind us.
"Mikan-nee, where's Hotaru?" My sister looks around and sees our friend isn't with us.
It's probably not smart, but I need to see where she is.
