Chapter 25: I remember...!

Akako's POV

"It's Narumi Sensei, so I anticipated it would be an unusual test, but...." Yuu sweat drops at our teacher.

"I think I might have done alright on this Grammar test!" Mikan cheers in glee as I lean on Yuu, I can't stand the thought of that test anymore!

"Only you would think so..." I say as the other kids groan.

"I thought my hand and brain would rot from so much lying." Koko smiles at Hotaru, "No kidding." She huffs.

Second period: Science.

"From doing this every year, I know you kids won't listen if I just tell you not to cheat. So this year I've decided to give each of you one of these cacti to watch you. If they find any form of cheating, they'll punish you right on the spot, so keep that in mind."

"Misaki-Sensei really is harsh..." I sink into my seat as I pout.

We start in the test and right as I answer the third question, Mikan bolts up with tears streaming, "He just looked at my answer and laughed! It's really distracting!" I sigh and try to tune out my sister.

Please allow Mikan to do well. She tried and studied so hard.

"He laughed at everything I wrote." Mikan cries when we finished.

"That just means you got em' all wrong." Koko pats her arm.

"Mind reader-kun, Don't the needles hurt?" Yuu looks at our friend who has cactus needles all over his hand.

Periods 3&4: Math and English.

"There is no cheating at the moment."

A math and English combination test?! They're tag teaming us!!!

"So you've all gotten a little smarter; have you?" Jinno-Sensei basically insults us.

"Augh! I didn't understand a word of that!" Mikan groans.

"We all knew that." Koko states, I frown at him and hit him on the head. I then climb on his back and lay my head on his shoulder.

"Hey! Let's all compare answers!" Two boys shout and run over to us. Natsume and Ruka were with them, so they came as well.

"This one is x-5?" A kid points at a certain answer.

"What? I got 18."

One kid cries out in agony, "Kyaaa! I got the same answer as Sakura!"

"Which sakura?" Yuu tilts his head.

"Well if he's mortified, then obviously he was talking about Mikan!" Koko answers, I frown once again and pull a needle out of his hand.

"Ow." I get off his back and stare at him in disappointment.

"I can't even tell if you're really hurt. You smile through everything." I shake my head before we start walking again, all of us comparing answers. They groan when they get a different answer than me; and cheer when they get the same as me.

"Natsume, what did you write on the grammar test?" I walk beside him.

"I left it blank." I stare at him in shock, "I figured." Another kid sighs.

Day 2; periods 1&2: Home economics.

Assistant Sensei is doing this test, we have to pair up and make clear soup and fried rice in a 40 minute time limit.

"I love cooking!" Mikan shouts, but I take a step back in fear as Hotaru holds up two chopping knives.

I'm finishing cooking when I feel a pain in my head. "What......?" I ask out loud as my vision goes blurry.
