Chapter Five

 I was on my way to pick Chris up. Today is the surprise party with him and his friends. Tomorrow, is with his family. I pulled up to the airport. I fixed myself before getting out of the car. I walked in, looking for the gate he was suppose to get off at.

 ‘’Baby.’’ Someone said. I turned to see someone.

 ‘’Chris?’’ I asked. Damn, this nigga done got chubby and he got curls. He nodded his head, then I hugged him tightly. ‘’You look so different. What did they put in your food?’’ I asked, looking up.

 ‘’Nothing, but you know I haven’t felt them lips in about four months.’’ He said, smiling. I smiled, then kissed him passionately. He pulled away, picking me up bridal style. ‘’I love you so much, Kai.’’ He said.

 ‘’I love you too.’’ I said, getting down. I laid him out, to his Lamborghini, getting into the driver seat. I put the key into the ignition, pulling off. ‘’Baby, put this on.’’ I said, handing him a red bandana.

 ‘’Over my eyes?’’ He asked, taking off his shades.

 ‘’Yes, I have something for you.’’ I said, smiling. He put the bandana over his eyes. I put my hand on his, intertwining our fingers.

 ‘’Baby, you know that I want us to do something for us. I know you’ve been going insane with taking care of the kids, but I want you to know I’m going to change.’’ Chris said. I pulled into the house. I got out, helping him out of the car. I walked up to the gate, opening it. I helped him walk through till’ we were in front of everything. I walked away, standing in front of everyone.

 ‘’Ok, baby you can take it off now.’’ I said, smiling. He took it off, looking at us.

 ‘’Welcome home, Chris!’’ We all shouted. He ran over to me, picking me up. He pecked my lips, then put me down.

 ‘’I knew you were planning something, but I didn’t think you would get all my homeboys here.’’ He said.

 ‘’I have my ways, but this is your special day. Welcome home, baby.’’ I said, pecking his lips. He went around socializing. I was talking with Kim Kardashian and Nicki Minaj.

 ‘’You and Chris are the definition of tough love. I’ve heard of all the bumps you have had, most people would quit.’’ Nicki stated, sipping on her drink.

 ‘’Well, at the end of the day I realized after all the fighting and the name calling we love each other deeply. I also realized that I don’t want my children to have to go through what I went through in my childhood. My children are my main concern.’’ I said.

 ‘’Well, whenever you and Chris are doing keep it up. I know that boy is a handful.’’ Nicki said. I nodded my head in agreement. I felt arms wrap around my waist.

 ‘’What you ladies talking about?’’ He asked, putting his head on my shoulder.

 ‘’Our relationship.’’ I said, smiling.

 ‘’This relationship has been very rocky but she’s always been there for me, for the better and the worst. I love this girl right here, and it’s gonna stay that way forever.’’ He said, pecking my cheek. The girl’s aww’ed. ‘’I want you tonight.’’ He whispered into my ear, then he sucked on my earlobe. I turned around, getting on my tip-toes.

 '’That’s gonna be your present from me.’’ I whispered into his ear. I pecked his lips, then got down from my tiptoes. Ms. Joyce walked over to me.

 ‘’It’s time.’’ She said. I walked into the middle of the crowd of people, standing on a chair.

 ‘’Everyone, could I have your attention?!’’ I asked, shouting. Everyone toward to face me. ‘’We are here to welcome home my wonderful husband, Chris. So Brittany and Nicki could you roll it out?’’ I asked, looking at them. They rolled the cake over to me. ‘’Come here, baby.’’ I said, looking at Chris. He walked over to me, helping me down. ‘’This is all for you.’’ I said, smiling.

 ‘’Welcome home, Chris!’’ We all shouted, then he blew out the candles. I took a picture of the cake. He picked me up, making giggle.

 ‘’I love you.’’ He said, smiling. I smiled, kissed him passionately. I heard everyone either ‘’eww’ing or aww’ing’’. Chris let me go, then I fell on my feet.

 ‘’I love you too, Chris.’’ I said. We got a piece of cake, then sat down. Chris fed me, as I fed him.

 ‘’So, about my little ‘’gift’’. When and where do I get it?’’ He asked.

 ‘’After everyone leaves, and in our bedroom silly.’’ I said, smiling. He nodded, and then we continued feeding each other. I looked into Chris’s eyes, and seen pure lust and desire. I know my baby missed his mami.

 ‘’What up fam?’’ Ty asked, doing a handshake with Chris. ‘’Hi, Kai.’’ He said, hugging me. I smiled, then sat back down.

 ‘’Nothin’ much, just thankful to be out of there so I can help with the kids and be here with my beautiful wife.’’ He said, wrapping his arm around my waist.

 '’That’s what's up. King been wantin’ to see you.’’ He said.

 ‘’All make it over there.’’ Chris said, smiling. I looked over at Chris, smiling. I was thinking of tonight, I can’t wait and I know he can’t wait either.
